The weather can't quite make up it's mind here. In the last few days, we've had snow, sun, rain, snow, more sun, and this morning it is snowing pretty hard. Makes it a bit challenging to decide what to wear in the morning for sure

It decided to be difficult here today too. It's snowing out there! It was just a few flurries at lunch but by the time dinner was over, it was full out snow. Don't think it's supposed to accumulate much but so much for putting my boots away :/

-1 All Stars - $13/night for parking...seriously!?! (and it goes up based on level or resort) Nothing I found said what happens if you don't have a car. One would hope they don't charge you then too. Makes staying off sight and parking at the theme parks more appealing (although I love the convenience of just jumping on a bus)

I know, the new parking fees stink. Although I did read something that perhaps they won't be doing it now due to the outcry? I'm sure it will just get added in somewhere else if it doesn't come to pass as a parking fee.

Hmm, yeah that's true. Corporations can find hundreds of places to hide fees. Minimum wage recently went up here and one restaurant chain was saying they haven't really felt the effects on the business side because they've strategically increased prices. As a customer at that restaurant I've seen those price increases for decreased quality and now rarely go because I can get better elsewhere. Just an example of a bad hidden fee I'm sure Disney can put it somewhere I'll never find it

Exactly. I don't mind paying more if the quality remains the same (because inflation sadly is an unavoidable thing), but for me, Disney quality has declined noticeably while their prices have increased steadily. I hope to go again once or twice at some point in the future, but they are quickly pricing me out of that
Agreed on the GF, it looks beautiful, but I couldn't stay there unless I won the lottery...twice!

Not that I play the lottery but I read this week a huge percentage of people who win end up declaring bankruptcy. It didn't get into how much the winners won, or how much later the declaration came, so who knows how accurate it is, but makes it easier to look at losing as a blessing

Oh, me either, I can probably count on one hand the amount of lottery tickets I have ever purchased. And I've read the same thing. I think people get the idea that $100k (or whatever they win) is a lot of money, but by the time you pay taxes and buy a few things, it is easily gone.
