Nothing really makes me sad - the theme from Soarin', Circle of Life and Wishes track always make me teary eyed for some reason.

For me, it's more the music than what the words might be saying...

The Finale from Spaceship Earth gets me a little, and right now the Magic Journeys song can get me a little choked up if I'm feeling especially vulnerable. New Horizons also gets to me, but I think that's just because I think of how it's gone and I never got a chance to see it. Sounds like it was a really neat ride.

Anything from the now-closed rides are sad to me =( Especially the original Imagination songs.

I'm not sure which track it is from the Magic Kingdom, but the one that includes "Feed the Birds" from Mary Poppins is a sad song to me. I can remember going back to my childhood that that song always made me sad. I guess it's the tune that has such a sad feeling to it. Does anyone else know what I'm talking about?

I so do! But that song is more of a sweet melancholy for me... instead of sad. I LOVE THAT SONG! (It's a waltz... did ya know that?)

I know what you mean about being a "sweet melancholy". Even though it has a sad sort of tune, I still like listening to it depending on my mood. It's definitely a reflective type song. I guess it's hard to describe, but your description is right on.

That is very interesting. I don't think I've ever considered that song to be sad. Probably because it is just so lovely.

Well, as a kid I always felt sorry for the homeless lady feeding the birds as that song played in the movie - I associate that song with that feeling of sadness. She seemed creepy to me too!

^ same goes for me. I was having trouble figuring out a song that makes me sad because they all make me happy! Except for this one..... :(

Hmmm. Never saw the movie 'till I was older. Maybe that is the difference.

I agree with SpaceyMounty -- there aren't any songs/music tracks that make me sad, more like happy (but a bit mournful that I'm not at DL)

It has to be Two Brothers that is so moving.

I get the feed the birds in Mary Poppins but it is not a sad song to me, I think it is supposed to make you think of others before yourself.

As for blood on the saddle it just makes me laugh every time I hear it.
