Yeah, I got the choice in colour, I'm just not allowed to have it until I get to WDW

I wonder if they don't mail them internationally for a few reasons, getting lost in transit, or guests forgetting to bring them with them, too expensive? Or perhaps another reason altogether?

32 days...woot woot! Looking forward to seeing the new construction at the Poly and maybe hitting a waterpark for the first time ever, as you know, research.

Both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon will be open so I think I may have to skip a 3rd day in the MK for a day at one or both water parks.

I think they're just too cheap to pay for international postage

The travel documents they sent me came from their UK office in London rather than WDW. (random fun fact: I've been in Disney's London head office (for WDW interview a few years ago))

Yeah, I'm kinda thinking that is the main reason. Hmm, never thought about there being an office elsewhere. Makes sense though. What position did you interview for?

It was when I did the international programme a few years back. It was supposed to be a 6-month thing at WDW, but it turned out the US government wouldn't alllocate Disney any visas to do the programme in the end so it didn't happen (This was after the 2-month programme I did at MGM (as it then was) in 2006).

That's a bummer. Glad you got to experience the first 2 month program though!

I don't have a waterproof camera, so I doubt I will have any pictures of BB or TL. Definitely not taking the iPhone down a waterslide. Will be a good test of can one survive in a park with just a change of clothes and a MagicBand...

Ah, yes, I wouldn't chance the iPhone down the waterslide either

Probably not even with a "waterproof" case. I bet you'll be fine with your MagicBand and clothes. Don't forget the sunscreen though!

46 days!!! Fast Passes have been chosen...most dining reservations have been made...now my next challenge is figuring how to pack for myself, my husband and my one year old in two suitcases!

How long will you be gone? I bet you can manage to fit everything in two suitcases. It would be harder packing for a little one as they won't likely be able to re-wear any outfits. But their clothes are small enough you can wash them in the sink if you have to!

We are gone for 8 days! But me, as the overpacker for myself....and with this being our first big trip Miles and probably packing more than we need for him...I'm sure it will be A LOT! Thank goodness we are staying in a two bedroom suite so that we have a washer and dryer. That will help a lot! Plus, I'm sure I'll want to buy him clothes at the parks and wash them right away so he can wear them.

Luckily we are going to order extra supplies like diapers, wipes, snacks, etc from Amazon and have them delivered to the resort so we dont have to worry about packing all of that stuff.
