Disney Parks "You Are Here" Mugs from Starbucks
DW and I have a pair of the "You Are Here" mugs for our home state of Alabama and love them. They are nice and big and we love the look and feel of them.
Well, now that Starbucks is in the Disney parks, they are releasing a mug for each of the 6 US parks. You can only get them at the Starbucks locations in each park and you are limited to buying 5 at a time. DW and I love these park ones and I've already reached out to friends who live in FL to see if they can buy some the next time they make it to WDW.

By looking at the comments, it appears that they will be $14.99 each, which I believe is about what we paid for ours here in Alabama.

I am in love with these cups and cannot wait for them to be released. I also want the travel mug.
Can't wait to take my twin boys on their first trip to Walt Disney World! Planning on heading there sometime Feb-May 2014!

The mugs must be bigger than they look if they cost that much? I do like the designs, and like Polnesian Princess, I like the travel mug, but I don't care anything about Starbucks so I would rather buy a regular Disney parks mug without the Starbucks branding on it.

There isn't much "Starbucks" on the mugs..at least not the ones we have. They are considerably bigger than a standard coffee mug. I would say they hold as much coffee as a large travel mug. I know they easily hold the largest amount of coffee my Keurig can make.
Plus, you are buying something that you can only get in that one place and nowhere else.

Love Starbucks and Disney and stylish mugs. I'll definitely seek these out... Especially that Epcot one. Man, that's pretty.
(Of course, if you like that retro look, you can always go for the genuine article on eBay. I just just picked this one up yesterday, and I got this one for Christmas.)

The mugs didn't really seem to have much Starbucks on them, but the travel mug had a whole side of ittheBIGyowski wrote:There isn't much "Starbucks" on the mugs..at least not the ones we have. I do like the fact that the mugs are unique to each park. I hope they carry them long enough so that someone that was wanting to make a whole set of them could get to the parks to purchase them. I wonder if the mugs would be something you could call up the "I forgot to get that one thing at WDW that I really wanted, so I'm calling you to order it now" phone number?

You could also call merch services and have them ship them to you.

I would think you should be able to get them that way once they're released. If not, I'm sure we'll see them on Ebay (hopefully not at too much of a markup).Amy wrote:I wonder if the mugs would be something you could call up the "I forgot to get that one thing at WDW that I really wanted, so I'm calling you to order it now" phone number?

Ah, that's the name I was looking for. Do you think they will sell them from there if they are exclusive to the parks?Wizzard419 wrote:You could also call merch services and have them ship them to you.
Oh my goodness, that will be something to check out for sure. Just to see how bad the prices get inflated ~ so sad!Polynesian Princess wrote:I would think you should be able to get them that way once they're released. It will be interesting to see if anyone does that. I just wondered if it might be different as it is Starbucks that would be selling them.Wizzard419 wrote:That is the entire purpose of the department... If I recall, the starbucks presence in the resorts is a licensed establishment, which is why they have "Pornstar Mermaid" logos at DCA and on Main St.

So, to stick with the theme (though years are obviously way off), they use a slightly modified version of the original Starbucks Logo.
The only modification is that they removed her nipples. As they moved to wider expansion, they cropped it further and further in so people wouldn't complain. Enjoy your mermaid porn!
