I loved Norway before the restaurant was all princessed up. The food was really good when we had lunch there in 2001. Now it's not. Big. Fat. Bummer.

Yeah...I think Akershus is only appealing now if you have a little girl(s) in tow.

Did the ownership change, similar to how most of the places are run by restaurants from whatever country they represent?

Re: Changes coming to Norway Pavillion
The ride and movie can't change without the permission of the Norwegian Government I think. I'm pretty sure they have to sign off on it, it's the reason the ride is the way it is anyway.

Re: Changes coming to Norway Pavillion
They probably can since they already have made changes to the pavilion and, back when it did have sponsors, they were a bank.
If I recall, the Stave Church had changes done to it as well with little complaint.
Plus the changes to all the other pavilions as well...

As of last week Norway remains with ride and movie still being shown, only difference is the huge queue to see the frozen princesses. Shortest line time we saw was 2 and a half hours most days it was over 4hours.

I can't even imagine waiting in a queue that long for anything at the parks, much less a meet and greet!Sleepy90 wrote:As of last week Norway remains with ride and movie still being shown, only difference is the huge queue to see the frozen princesses.
