While it isn't exactly the same as heading to one of the parks, I am excited about our mini-Subsonic meet-up happening at the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry with the Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives exhibit in just 20 days

Hope the weather straightens up soon!! I know cy1229 and her family, MmeLeota and Cbog40, and the doubleboilers were hopefully going to be there...Anyone else planning on coming too?

Two days until we head out. I'm sorta freaking out a little.
Congrats on the mini meetup. Please give hugs all around for the crew from me and the Mrs.
I will post pics of NaClers triumph with his Donald medal when possible

It was my cousin, but I consider him my brother

And you have a good memory!!! Can't wait to hear all about it and see pictures! Wish we could be participating too!
Amy: I sure hope this weather is better by the 25th! We are under a state of emergency!

More than a foot of snow out there, the temps are plumeting but at least the snow has subsided. I think will hibernate until this passes! Bdude may be in Houston for our mini meetup, we should know more in the next 2 weeks. Still hoping we can make it!!! It's marked on our calendar!

It's 7 below at the moment. And we are under a travel warning too, so no lessons for me today. We are getting the lake effect snow now

Too cold for me or the tractor to be out at all clearing the driveway so hopefully it doesn't pile up too much. I plowed twice yesterday and am rapidly losing ground on where to put the snow. I always push it way far back on the sides so I have extra room but evidently I should have pushed it further back

I haven't looked at an extended forecast yet, but my finders are crossed for the meet-up! Will you come without b-dude if he is in Houston, or will you escape to the warmer temperatures with him?

I'll be sipping on a jalapeno margarita exactly 9 days from right now!
Looking at the weather...it appears that the overnight low for tonight going into tomorrow is 32 degrees!!! Holy moly! I bet Disney sweatshirts and jackets will be flying off the shelves!
The temperature should be back into the 60s and 70s by the time DW and I get there next week.

Your weather is a bit more unsettled than ours is then. It has been consistently cold today and after hitting 20 below tonight (not factoring in windchill) it is supposed to still be hovering below zero tomorrow

I was just happy it finally stopped snowing early this afternoon! Just checked the thermometer and we are sitting at -15 right now. Guessing that -20 might be surpassed tonight
I sure wish I had a Disney vacation in the works to take my mind off the weather!!

I'll have to look at the news sometime today, but the lowest I saw the temperature last night was -15.2 around 6 pm. The few times I checked after that it was warming up...still -14 below, but still, warmer! Hoping my buggy decides it is a cold weather vehicle today. I'm at my first house for 2-1/2 hours though so hopefully the temperatures warm up a bit before I am leaving there. Come on TR from the lucky people running the marathons! Hope the weather warms up down there for them though ~ it might be sort of chilly otherwise
