The piccante pizza has spicy Italian sausage...pretty much tastes like REAL Italian spaghetti...but on a pie instead of with noodles. It is by far our favorite and we'll get it every time. If you are not on the meal plan, it is definitely cheaper to split a pizza and dessert than it is to have each person get their own pizza.

45 days! It's getting really hard to focus at work and not plan out the days. I've got day 1 complete with FP+'s, but from there it gets more complicated. I've picked parks but still playing around with FP+ trying to maximize the benefits. I'm very disappointed it's not letting me get one for Soarin' and Test Track.

Sorry, I'm one of those who likes Soarin'. I like the effective and simple ride design, and love the score by Jerry Goldsmith. I'll get to Test Track as well to check out the new theme. Yay for single rider lines!dstrawn9889 wrote:so skip the imax and go for test track...(never saw the draw of soarin' anyway...)

As long as you are willing to wait in a possibly really long single rider line ~ I waited for almost an hour in the Test Track single rider line ~ it took forever! But that was before the reboot, so perhaps you will luck outImagineerWannabe wrote:Sorry, I'm one of those who likes Soarin'. Only 18 more days until DW and I are at WDW!
We ordered our park hoppers on Christmas Day, so they should arrive here by Jan 3. That will give us a week and a half to get them linked to our Magic Bands and hopefully get some FP+ reservations made...if there are any good openings still available. We also made an ADR for Marrakesh for one of the nights...then decided to cancel it in favor of an ADR at Boma since we're staying at Kidani Village. We figured we could do a semi-full day at DAK...leave the park at 3:30 to go back to our room and freshen up...head to Boma at 5:00 to eat an early dinner...then head to EPCOT after that for the evening since it will have Evening EMH that night. I had the crazy idea to make an ADR at the Brown Derby...which would put us in DAK from 9-4ish...then DHS for dinner...then EPCOT for the evening. We just didn't see enough on the menu to justify the energy to get that done...but maybe another time.
Thanks to all of my travel for work this past fall/winter we were able to book a night at a very nice hotel here at home to stay the night before we leave...for free using my hotel points. This will allow us to start our mini vacation a night early and will keep us from running around like crazy the morning we fly out.

Nice! Have you eaten at Boma before? I still would like to eat at the Brown Derby but have thought the same thing about the menu, probably not enough on there that I would want to eat there...but the dining with an Imagineer would be sort of fun!theBIGyowski wrote:Only 18 more days until DW and I are at WDW!

We ate at Boma during our honeymoon back in 2010...and absolutely loved it. What's funny is that we said we would be trying new restaurants this trip instead of eating at the same places we always do. Instead we are eating at Via Napoli (2010 & 2011), Boma (2010), and Kona Island for Sushi (2011). We will probably also get Fish 'n Chips in the UK (2010 & 2011) for a quick meal as well. Oh well...we do plan on trying Flame Tree BBQ at DAK this time around...a place neither of us have ever eaten at before. We always do Pecos Bill in MK...but hope to try something different this time as well.Amy wrote:Nice! Have you eaten at Boma before? That's funny that you are sticking with some of your favorite restaurantstheBIGyowski wrote:We ate at Boma during our honeymoon back in 2010...and absolutely loved it. You can always hit up the same restaurants when you take your little boy for his first trip ~ everywhere you eat will be his first time trying that restaurant

Boma is a great choice! Now I wish I was planning a trip!Amy wrote:That's funny that you are sticking with some of your favorite restaurantstheBIGyowski wrote:We ate at Boma during our honeymoon back in 2010...and absolutely loved it. 17 days!!!I think if you like BBQ, you will like Flame Tree. It is one of our favorites and we eat there at least once or twice a trip

Try the sandwich place over by the river boats in MK if you want something a little different. They have good food. I think they also have a waffle, Nutella, and fruit concoction that looks good.
