WOW what a cluster. This is just soooo bad!Sharonofwindham wrote:I really think that I would rather skip the attraction all together...this would really take the fun out of it for meCardinals314 wrote:The Tiki Room as most of you know was planning for a refurbishment. The surprising news is that the area where the refurbishment work is currently being worked on in the room itself is walled off while the attraction is still operating for guests. Half of the room is walled off. This is so unlike Disney

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is planning to have a one day refurbishment on November 5th. That's interesting that it's just one day. Probably some minor maintenance.

We missed Thunder Mt. back in 2012 when it went through it's complete refurbishment. I agree, must be something very minor.

I'm so bummed about the railroad and peter pan both being in refurb when we are there! The railroad is always such a good ride to chill out on and my nephew loves he. He is going to be sad!
In more important news....I leave 3 weeks from tomorrow!

Re: Refurbishment News
It looks like the "Legacy" Fastpass system is being gutted from Peter Pan during its refurbishment.

They are getting rid of FP's on Peter Pan? Or does it have to do with the new system?!

From what I understand, the current paper FP will be phased out and replaced with the FP+. I'm guessing they are getting a head start with Peter Pan being down for renovations.boilerbabe wrote:They are getting rid of FP's on Peter Pan? Or does it have to do with the new system?!

Now that would suck if you were at a resort that hasn't been changed over yet and they have started a changeover which means you may not be able to use some rides' FP system.

Re: Refurbishment News
Well Disney is planning to have full implementation of MyMagic+ and the new Fastpass system by December 1st. The refurbishment goes to November 15th, thus there will be only a half a month at most for people that can't use FPs for Peter Pan.Wizzard419 wrote:Now that would suck if you were at a resort that hasn't been changed over yet and they have started a changeover which means you may not be able to use some rides' FP system.

Even one day is enough to get a customer infuriated since they paid for a vacation but are ineligible for services that other people can use by simple virtue of a hardware rollout schedule.
