WHen I then found out Dreamfinder made an appearance I became bit more ecstatic and played the Imagination on my comp! Oh how I hope they revamp the attraction to include both of them again! They are like PB&J..Yeah A PB sandwich can be great by itself, but together, they can be magical!![]()

An expanded presence in the park would be nice ~ there is just a tiny selection of Figment merchandise now...Wizzard419 wrote:"Yes, Figment will always be a part of Epcot... as merchandise that you can take home and enjoy all year round".

I hope that's a sign of good things to come!NaCler wrote:Apparently Dreamfinder and Figment played major roles in D23 Expo today complete with a Meet N Greet. Does this mean they could be returning together after refurb???

Can't wait to take my twin boys on their first trip to Walt Disney World! Planning on heading there sometime Feb-May 2014!

And don't forget the closed Galaxy restaurant (I believe that's what it was called).lonepalm wrote:This would be a terrible tragedy if they were to leave this pavilion closed for good, a la Wonders of Life. It is bad enough they have an entire pavilion behind the overgrown shrubs and such, but two in one park? In my opinion, I wouldn't mind if they re-imagined the entire pavilion (and I'm a huge Captain EO fan, and I actually like Journey Into Imagination). It is my firm belief that they need to sink some serious money into Epcot (yes, I know, they just completely re-imagined Test Track). Maybe it is because Epcot is my favorite park, but I couldn't imagine two pavilions being closed down to rot. Let's hope it is truly seasonal, or no closure at all!

If it does happen, it might be silently done since they are not going to be replacing anything. Similar to the closure of rocket rods, one day there was a sign out front saying it was down for repairs the next day, all mention of the ride was stripped from the park.

Too bad they weren't able to remove the attraction carcass itselfWizzard419 wrote:If it does happen, it might be silently done since they are not going to be replacing anything. You wouldn't want them to, that would mean a large amount of shade would be gone in summer as well as the support for the lighting, speakers, and other temporary effects for the various holidays/special events.

But it is so sad seeing the track and knowing that nothing runs on itWizzard419 wrote:You wouldn't want them to, that would mean a large amount of shade would be gone in summer as well as the support for the lighting, speakers, and other temporary effects for the various holidays/special events.

Re: Imagination Pavilion News
With the changes to safety laws and ADA criteria... odds are nothing would be running on it now either way. There is a good probability that it will never be used for rides again since the space is narrow and hard to evacuate the handicapped from in an emergency, and whatever they would build would need to be an E-Ticket, but to build such as ride would have no space for a queue. That and every time it rains it would cause major problems.

So sad. It really seems like they didn't think ahead when they said, hey, let's utilize the people mover track for rocket rods!Wizzard419 wrote:With the changes to safety laws and ADA criteria... odds are nothing would be running on it now either way. They probably thought they could get away with not being compliant by abusing the grandfather system the law had in place. The decline in tourism from 9/11 also did not help things since they were less inclined to fix a ride when park attendance was on the decline.

Re: Imagination Pavilion News
From what I have been hearing, Disney has decided to not do anything with the pavilion after New Years.
