I've heard rumor that sub has it, and will be getting it to us whenever he has the chance. Am I right on that? I sure hope so, because I adore the Electrical Water Pageant! It's so cheesy and fun and makes me think happy thoughts of staying at a Disney hotel.
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

most recent edition we have that has yet to be added to the list is from 1992. Anything more current than that we don't have...

Is that the one with "Walk the Dinosaur" and such or the one from the 70s and 80s with Handel's Water Music?

Oh, wait, I see...there are a 1992 and a 1999 version up. How are they different?

I'd still like to hear the one that I always think of as the "real" one...it differs from the one you have listed as the original, so I guess it's all relative.

Alas, I'm not familiar with the EWP. I'm basing the track names by what they are already named. Is the EWP even still there? Do I have the most current track?

I don't actually know what the current version is. I haven't seen the show in years.

Somewhere around here I have a recording of the version that feels "real" to me, but it's a sort of noisy recording on a regular audio tape. Know any good tricks for converting it to mp3, even if it's just so you can hear the difference (not sure it'd be acceptable for playing here, unless you have software to clean up recordings)?

I really love that old music.

Right now, all I see on the list are the 1973 and 1992 versions. The 1973 version just played and it's the one that sounds very much like the MSEP.

I don't remember for sure, but I think the 1992 version is the one with "Walk the Dinosaur" and music from the Little Mermaid.

I found the tape that has a version between those two. It seems that the very first note might be cut off (someone must have switched on a tape recorder). There is applause between the finale and the music that plays as the pageant goes to its next location, so it's clearly not a master.

I can make a copy of the tape, which also has a ton of stuff from Pirates and the Mansion (which I think you have), some stuff from If You Had Wings... and 20000 Leagues (which I think you don't) and some other random stuff and snail mail it to you.

I don't have access to decent tape transfer (just my crappy little old boombox), but given that the source material seems to be either taped live or from vinyl, that might not be so important.

If you're interested, let me know where to send the thing.

I sold my tape deck a long time ago :) Someone else would have to do it!
Sounds like those tracks would be interesting to have.

The EWP is still around, never fear.

The current version has Poor Unfortunate Souls, Never Smile at a Crocodile, Under the Sea, etc.

it runs past the resorts on the Seven Seas Lagoon, if that's what you mean.
