This website is the BOMB! As a WDW Fanatic, It brings back really good memories, and actually, it makes me feel happy. Right down in the middle of my chest, I get that overjoyed feeling! I know, weird, but it really makes the work day a bit more enjoyable. It does also bring a bit of a longing too. Makes me miss the parks so much! WDW was a very MAGICAL part of my childhood, and it lasts into adulthood. The Epcot music ROCKS! (Being a P.T. dance teacher, I can appreciate the variations and POWER in the music... something that much of today's music lacks!) Disney is a place where my soul just SOARS! (with mouse ears of course) I sometimes even wear my mouse ears sitting at my desk @ work! heheheh. Life is TOO SHORT! Live well, Laugh OFTEN!
Hmmmmm I want to put a smile face icon in here... but where are the ones with MOUSE EARS!?!?!?!?

::: Milton:: "Well, I was told that I could listen to the radio at a reasonable volume....Well... I... I told Bill that if Sandra's going to listen to her headphones while she's filing, then I should be able to listen to the radio while I'm collating. ...So I don't see why I should ... ... have to turn down the radio.... I enjoy listening to my radio at a reasonable volume. " Hehehe.
HERE'S AN INTERESTING FACT! Did you know that the guy who plays Milton in the movie "Office Space" (Stephen Root) is also the voice for one of the tank fishes in 'Finding Nemo?" (Bubbles!.... My bubbles!... hehehe). I almost DIED when I found out! I love BOTH those movies! (and I think that Ellen D. was an AWESOME Dori!) Just keep swimming!

and interesting even more, he was also a federal agent in Crocodile Dundee 2 and he was also in Dodgeball. In addition, he was in Bicentennial Man as the CEO of the robotiocs company. His appearance chages a little with all his different movies

I listen mainly to not only "relive" the good times in the parks, but also to get excited about future trips to Disney (leaving for WDW 5/14!)

I listen for inspiration. The audio gets my mind working like Disney. I start thinking on a grander scale. Then my ideas are not so one dimensional and I can create attractions that are a full experience.

Stephen Root was also billionaire Jimmy James on the classic sitcom NewsRadio. And I don't mean "classic" as in "old", I mean "classic" in the proper sense. Terrific show, while Phil Hartman was still around anyway.

My reason is pretty simple. WDW is my favorite place to visit, and listening to audio tracks lets me relive old memories, picture that I'm there in my head, and look forward to when I can be there again. In short, listening keeps my mood up.

Why - because I love it! In truth, having Disney music/attraction sounds going on in my office helps me do my job.

I listen because it's as close as I can be to WDW without actually being there. The audio just really takes you away to that magical place.

As others have posted, I love the way that Subsonic transports me back to the parks. The music is wonderfully written, the "announcements" nostalgic, and the variety keeps it all fresh.
A more important reason for me is sharing Subsonic with my daughter. I periodically get to request something for myself, but I usually use my points to request something that she would like to hear (Splash Mountain being the current favorite). She'll come into my office and color while I work, constantly asking "What's on now?" I'll tell her what's playing and we'll talk about that particular ride or park or something of which we are reminded. No wonder I don't get any work done!
Thanks, Subsonic, for giving us this special experience!

i like listening because:
1) i love ambiant/background type music. music that over time just becomes part of you. almost like the soundtrack of your life.
2) i like to work to it...write code to it.
3) it takes me back to the parks. fond memories!

It is surprisingly good for that. I wonder why... something about imagination begetting imagination?
