Re: Tiki Room Refurbishment
acp, what I meant by that, is Pirates is being changed every few years now when they release a movie. There are plenty of rides across property that need to be updated. The great movie ride for one. There are ALWAYS movies coming out. Why not change a scene or two in that one? 4 days sounds like just routine maintenance that all of the water based rides have to go through, but when he said that most of Adventureland was going through rehabs, it didn't sound like that.
"hold on to them hats and glasses, cause this here's the wildest ride in the wilderness!!"

Because they would probably need to spend a fortune in royalties alone. Depending on how the arrangement is now for the scenes, they may not be paying little to nothing but making changes would jump the cost. That and it would be a waste of money since the ride's presentation method/system is also heavily dated.

Re: Tiki Room Refurbishment
The Enchanted Tiki Room refurbishment that was scheduled for July 31 2013 through to August 28 has been removed from the schedule. It is not yet clear if the refurbishment has been cancelled, or delayed for a later date.
