Hmmm... I was just reposting the info posted and I wonder what "multiple ticket entitlements" means? Could all the tickets in the group be on all bands so a single person could get fastpasses for their party?

Could it be referring to tickets for special events like MNSSHP?Wizzard419 wrote:Hmmm... I was just reposting the info posted and I wonder what "multiple ticket entitlements" means? Could all the tickets in the group be on all bands so a single person could get fastpasses for their party?

Re: MyMagic+
I had seen where having your name "engraved" on the inside of your band was an option.
There have been a few posts on various sites about the bands themselves having two size options. It appears you actually simply peel a smaller size away from the full size magic band to fit smaller guests. This is not a reversible option though, so you want to be sure you want the band to be smaller!

I would guess it is more like having tickets to MNSSHP like Cardinals314 suggested. Not sure how they will handle individual guests getting fastpasses for their parties anymore. Since you have the FP scheduled ahead of time, I would guess there won't be people loading up on FP anymore. I think you only get the three FP allowed ahead of time and none issued in the parks if you have the MagicBand.Cardinals314 wrote:Could it be referring to tickets for special events like MNSSHP?Wizzard419 wrote:Hmmm... Re: MyMagic+
I think they said the old system will still be in place, but it seems just as inefficient as the existing system where you need all the tickets to get them for your party. At the same time it may be too much work to change the way tickets are handled by the system to do something smarter/streamlined.

Re: MyMagic+
The old system is going to still be in place when MyMagic plus fully rolls out. In the future, I can see Disney completely getting rid of the current system and make every Fastpass on the band. FastPass+ is optional to guests, but it is an incentive for planning early enough. You will probably still be able to get regular fastpasses at attractions.

Re: MyMagic+
From the way they were phrasing it, it sounds like the paper media fastpasses will not be a part of the new system and it will all be in-app/at the kiosks.

Re: MyMagic+
they could potentially give you a plastic card like the room key...that has RFID and just use that until the wristbands are 100% rolled out
it would be similar to PhotoPass if I had to relate it to anything

Re: MyMagic+
Customization information has just been released:
CoverBands
Priced at $6.95 for one, or $15.95 for three, CoverBands do exactly what the name implies - they cover your MagicBand. Made of a cloth-type material, the CoverBands wrap your MagicBand with a whole range of different designs. You can choose from a variety of Mickey and Minnie designs, Pirates of the Caribbean, or some more much subtle patterns. So if you don't like the color of your band, or just want to change it up - the CoverBand seems to be the way to go for a complete transformation.
MagicSliders
At nearly twice the price of the CoverBands, MagicSliders attach to the MagicBand by sliding onto the strap. You can choose a Mickey or Minnie shape from $12.95. They are quite large, and although they look great, it would seem that they would add to the bulk of the MagicBand.
MagicBandits
Starting form $6.95, MagicBandits are small pin-like objects that snap onto the band adjustment holes. Lots of designs are available, including Mickey and Minnie, Nightmare Before Christmas, Muppets, Tink, and Phineas and Ferb.
Here are some customization photos.

very interesting
on the surface it seems like a waste of money...but think about how much money people spend on lanyards and decorating them
I actually like these

Also, it does leave the door open for some modification to how the bands look since they ship them ahead of time. I wonder if they would take issue with embedding it in a watch? Some places do some don't.

That would be very handy to have the chip simply installed in your watch!Wizzard419 wrote:Also, it does leave the door open for some modification to how the bands look since they ship them ahead of time. I wonder if they would take issue with embedding it in a watch? Some places do some don't.
I like the little bandits thingies ~ definitely like the jibbitz were for the Crocs. I'd like to think I would spend money on them as they are sort of expensive, but I can see myself probably getting a few. Hopefully they will stay on the magic band better than the jibbitz did on the Crocs though!
I think I would experiment with my limited sewing skills to make my own cover before I would spend $7 on a cover though.

Re: MyMagic+
Because... marketing?
That little "The" on the first shirt probably just barely keeps EA and MTV out of Disney's hair as they own the name "Rockband".
