My guess is that the "good" events/things will only be during the busy weeks since it would be a waste of time working hard for an off-season crowd.

Are you KIDDING ME??? I would TOTALLY book a trip to see the Dapper Dans singing boy band music!!! Where do I sign up???Amy wrote:I can see NaCler's point though ~ some of the surprises are less than surprising and very gimmicky...nothing that makes people want to book a trip right awayjunebug1233 wrote:It might just be an age thing, trying to appeal to those of us in our mid-late 20s. I was growing up around the time most boy band music was popular, so I find this to be very funny. It's just something unexpected.NaCler wrote:I think they have already shown that some of these are really going to be a stretch. Dapper Dans singing Boy Band music as a celebration?? Since when do we celebrate crappy music?

I think it might be a trick ~ she would book a trip anyhow, but the DD singing boy band music would be the "reason"NaCler wrote:cy... I hope you are kidding. If not, I will post the link of the DD's singing boy band stuff and you can just forward me the money you would have spent on a trip.

I don't know if I'm missing something here, or some expectations have been extensively lowered, but NONE of this stuff sounds the least bit exciting to me, and some just downright ridiculous as a, "SURPRISE"

I agree. Nothing spectacular, or even a little bit enticing. so farSharonofwindham wrote:I don't know if I'm missing something here, or some expectations have been extensively lowered, but NONE of this stuff sounds the least bit exciting to me, and some just downright ridiculous as a, "SURPRISE"

The Easter egg hunt was pretty fun. And a Vinylmation keychain- well, two- was a pretty good reward. I had fun at least.

Maybe using the word "surprise" is a mistake. But a "Limited Time Magic" promotion is no different to what every retailer is doing week in week out. I'm sure even Disney are finding times hard as we all struggle at the moment. Are they simply just advertising in a different way by saying you might see something special. Don't see anything wrong in that and surely there must be something there for everyone
I would so love to be able to get there for the Diamond Horseshoe being open again. Found it great entertainment when we went in 1998

All good points, I am Sulley. I personally don't think Disney has to try so hard to come up with a new promotion every year as they offer so much to begin with. The big anniversaries would be more special that wayI am Sulley wrote:Maybe using the word "surprise" is a mistake. But I've noticed the people who are complaining about LTM the most are the ones who aren't even at Disney and have no foreseeable trips planned.
