I personally LOVE the Coke place in Epcot. It's GREAT. We enjoyed being able to try drinks from other places. That's one corporate partnership I didn't mind at all. Not to mention I'm a Coke girl and loathe Pepsi.
I think Len hit it on the head, though. The limit will be when people stop coming. That won't happen unless we have a major economic catastrophe, we go to war and can't travel freely, or a meteor lands on WDW.

In other words, the odds are against it.

I wouldn't mind some corporate sponsorship back over at the Imagination Pavilion...so that it can get a much needed overhaul.

I'm a Coke girl too! I like the Club Cool spot as well. It is always fun trying the various kinds of Coke, although my favorite is always the good old USA Coca Cola Classic

So anything up to and including saying the brand name 50 times in a song is acceptable.
The limit in all honesty will be to keep going until the people stop coming and the profits take a huge dive (or the parks are in the red).
I seriously think we are heading towards further commercialization in the parks. They are already showing the signs of this with the opening of Starbucks locations in place of generic bakeries. Sponsorships on attractions will continue and I do think it will go more towards the World's Fair where the attraction is made more for the company. We already did that with Test Track if you really want to think about it.
I think you meant "A return to 1950's/60's level branding"
That won't happen for the simple reason that companies are looking for sexy places (or at least ones with super high impression numbers) to promote their stuff and Disney is... she has a great personality.

Companies might spend money, but it's a coyote ugly situation.

Given how long dead that pavilion has been....shouldn't we call it the Wonders of After-Life?

I think Disney still has a pretty good draw. It just has to be the right company to fit.

WoL is a shell of it's former self. Body Wars simulators are gone. Small demolition projects have been going on since mid last year around the pavilion. If it ever does re-open besides for festival events, it's either as something completely different or so scaled back from what it was no one will recognize it.
We are all a little weird
And life's a little weird,
And when we find someone whose
Weirdness is compatible with ours,
We join up with them and fall in
Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”

Do you think that is a promising sign that small demolition projects have been going on around the pavilion? I don't think it will ever reopen as Wonders of Life again, but a new pavilion would be much appreciated. It is so sad that there is such a large area being underutilized!
Does anyone know if the Wonders of Life music is still played in that area?

Time will tell (half a decade I'm guessing) but I'm not holding my breath.

It has a good draw for a physical location, but the cost, lag time in updating, and number of people pale in comparison to other methods.

It's just right now TDO has no idea of what to do with the old WoL spot so it will just sit there and literally rot until they do. Remember Horizons? It sat there for years before it got demolished and eventually replaced by Mission: Space. I believe the same will happen with WoL. It could happen next year, or it could happen many years down the road. No way to tell...

I guess I didn't realize Horizons closed and languished so long before Mission: Space opened... I guess we will have to wait and see. And in the meantime, see how many different monorail wraps they can come up with

That isn't true though, the ride closed in 99 and work began in 2000.

Oh, that's not that long then.
