I'm sure it's posted somewhere, but I noticed something new in Amy's signature....

So. I gotta ask...when did the DLR trip come about????

Well done MmeLeota! I actually didn't post anything and was playing a waiting game to see how long it took someone to notice

My brother called Sunday night to let us know that he was successful in obtaining airline tickets for us to go to California. We will have to speak with my other brother (who lives in Cali) to work out the timing, but we will definitely be hitting DL no later than 12/2. I'm hoping to make it to the Disney Museum in San Francisco as well.

Sweet! So you'll get to see the parks dressed up for the holidays and you'll get to see HMH too!
I hope you get to experience the WDFM...It's a definite for any true Disney fan! Be sure to set aside at least half a day for it. We were there 4 hours and still didn't see it all. (but it was also during previews and incredibly crowded) We had to skip most of the interactive exhibits due to crowds...I'm sure it won't be nearly as crowded.

Well, if you are traveling by rail or car from the Bay area to Anaheim, I'm happy to meet you for lunch as my town is pretty much in the middle of that long and gorgeous commute.

Yup, we had told my brother we wanted to go over the holidays if possible for those very reasons. F1gment loves Haunted Mansion Holiday and I really enjoy It's a Small World Holiday.
Thanks for the tip on the museum. I wasn't sure how long it might take. That will probably be one of the things we do while my brother and sister-in-law are working one of the days we are there. That and getting some delicious sourdough bread!

Not sure if we are going to grab a commuter flight or rent a car yet JenMuse. Depends on the difference in cost. While we are both excited for the unexpected trip, we are going to have to try to keep costs down since it wasn't really planned and in the budget! If it turns out we are driving, I will let you know ~ would love to meet you in person

Yes, we are very lucky. It has certainly given me something to smile about these past few days. It makes hearing about all my students' spring break trips a little easier too

Good for you on finishing your taxes. I only ever pay since I am self-employed so I drag my feet at this time of year...I have such a hard time sifting through my photos and selecting just a few. Then they have to be uploaded and re-sized...it just gets to be overwhelming...I am so envious of those who manage to post their reports while they are still on vacation ~ I don't know how they do it?!?!

Let's hope so, but I think he has something more important to do that weekend...I will let him explain.
If he cant make it, I will understand because it's something pretty cool that doesn't happen to everyone.

Hmmm...sounds interesting. I'm sure you are correct, if he can make it, even if he is cheering and not running, he will find a way!
I'm catching up on my email and just read through the Wine and Dine info on the disneyfood blog. That is so neat that the course takes you through the Streets of America under the Obsorne Lights!!!
