Only times DS is not cute:
1) Hungry
2) Very Tired
3) Teething
4) When we are trying to dress him for bedtime after a bath

In retrospect...he's still cute during those times...but his "upset" face is on full display

Here is DS at 46 weeks...more teeth are coming in...which is why he has a tired look on his face.

My sister had her little girl on Feb 5th and it is amazing seeing how little she is and remembering back to when DS was just a few weeks old.

The reason we've taken his picture and posted it each week really was more for us than anything...so we would have a way to look back on his first year to see him grow. I wish there was a good way for us to get down to WDW to get DS' first haircut done at the Harmony Barber Shop...but a trip this year just doesn't look possible. I do know that once we make it down there we will try to get DS a haircut so he will have that experience.

I have always wanted to go into the Barbershop just to watch all the fun...seems like such a great nostalgic place to get a childs hait cut, and if I were a guy I would definitely get a trim here just for the experience

Here is DS at 47 weeks old...only 5 more weeks until he is a year old.

DW found those Mickey shorts at a big consignment sale at a church here in town, and I think they were handmade since they don't have a tag. DS can stand on his own for a few seconds if you give him something to hold onto with both hands. Once he realizes he is standing...he immediately falls down.

Just in the last few weeks he looks more like a toddler and less like a baby. Which he is, of course.

He'll be cruising, then start tentatively walking, and then look out, you both are in for it.

What a cutie!! [Edit: I just went back to page #1 of this thread and saw that now his leg is the same length as his entire body when he was a week old!]

Shorts are pretty easy to make, btw. If you know your way around a sewing machine, you can knock out a pair, start to finish, in an hour or so.

yes...DW has a sewing machine and used to make things way back when...but it's in a box now until we can move to a house that has room to set it up...or we figure out a way to set it up where we live now
