40 Weeks Old yesterday!

He is officially older now than he was in gestational weeks when he was born (39). So he's been out longer than DW was carrying him...crazy.

He's growing by leaps and bounds!! I've been around kids for a long time and I've never heard of that either.

DW had a tough pregnancy...so as DS got bigger and bigger...we were counting the weeks. I guess that's why we've had an eye on him getting past 39 weeks since that's how long we had to wait for him to be revealed to the world.

After I clicked "submit" I realized what a ridiculous thing this was to say. As if any child is not worth the wait.

DS...now that he can crawl and pull up on anything and everything...has gotten quite good at falling and banging his head. Our home is pretty much baby proof...but somehow DS finds ways to slip and hit his head on everything. It's not too bad though...a sip or two from our water bottles (he prefers them over his sippy cups) seems to get him calmed back down.

Oh yeah...we found a great Mickey Mouse outfit at Buy Buy Baby that was on clearance. It is a fleece jacket/pants/hat outfit where the hat has Mickey's face on it with ears as well. DS looks awesome in it...hopefully we can use it for one of his weekly pictures.

I think kids can find ways to injure themselves even if you wrap them in bubble wrap and pad your home with cotton balls. That's good that he is able to be calmed with something as simple as a sip out of a bottle of water!
And as for you being F.I.N.E. Jacca...yeah, gonna be good and keep the lips sealed
