WDW full service restaurants, now 180 days AR
This may be old information here, but when I went onto pscalculator.net to see when we would have to start booking our AR's for January, I realized that the full service restaurants now take AR's 180 days out, rather than 90 days. Is this news to anyone else? I'm not sure if that's good or bad! I don't usually have our itinerary completely planned out 6 months in advance, but now that the park hours are also posted that far out, I guess it's a little easier to plot and plan at the 6 month mark. I guess that is a good thing! Just wanted to share.

Im not sure what AR stands for but I think mickster means PS or Priority Seating.. Mayble Mickster means Advance Reservation?
Either way its the same thing. Reservation for dinner/lunch/breakfast.

Oh, sorry! Yes, Disney changed the name from Priority Seating to Advanced Reservations sometime earlier this year. I think it may actually be called Advanced Dining Reservations, or ADR--not sure of the official term!

I think the system is still basically the same, it's just farther out that you can make your arrangements--6 months, as opposed to 3 months ahead of time. For some reason they felt the need to change the name from PS to AR--who knows?!

Yea, it is getting pretty cheap honestly to do the dining plan.
We just booked a stay at pop century over Christmas and did the dining plan option. It was very affordable all around (my parents are using all the DVC points this year, and we wanted to be in Disney for Christmas with the whole family).
Mickster - Chunk and Mouth were my favorite characters of just about any movie in my childhood. Heck the Goonies and Stand by me were my favorite movies when I was a kid.

Check it out for yourself to be sure, but I'm certain it said all full service restaurants in the resorts and theme parks, including character meals and Cinderalla's Royal Table. I believe Hoop-Dee-Doo and the Luau are still 2 years in advance. www.pscalculator.net is the place to go. It's a pretty neat site.

It is for all restaurants, and at the end of the year, for all dinner shows, including HDDR and Luau now. It started back a few months ago, and is to alleviate some of the pressure for booking dining. With the advent of the Disney Dining Plan, the table service restaurants are at peak capacity almost on a daily basis.
Also, the Grand Gathering experiences can be booked 180 days out as well.
