And yes I do have a touch of claustrophobia, but my brother does not and he too was pretty ill afterwards. Meanwhile Dad had gone on green team and thought it was completely boring. So since the bro and I needed a rest and had to wait for Mom and Sis (sis was pregnant at the time) who were sleeping, er, riding Universe of Energy, Dad jumped in line for orange and absolutely loved it. He was 60 at the time and still mocks his mid 30s kids for being wusses.

I'm also not a fan of Test Track...they make crash test dummies for a reason. The acceleration test is great though, and almost worth all the other tests. I'll give the re-skin a try in Jan 2013 if I have the time and the line is short enough and it's before my dinner reservation.

I hate driving in general so I usually skip the Speedway, but as someone else mentioned, I love that the queue is usually so full. Means those folks aren't in the Buzz Lightyear or Peter Pan queues slowing down my day. As kids, we all loved it because it was a chance to be a grown-up and drive a car. So I understand why parents stand in that ridiculously long and boring line. It makes their kids very happy.

I don't have a problem with the spinning rides (MS excepted). And I love the view from the Astro Orbiters. I have a soft spot for the boring rides too, 'cause sometimes a mid-day air-conditioned nap is just what you need and the Great American Movie ride as well as the Universe of Energy are perfect for that and you don't have to go back to your hotel.

But apparently there are only a handful of us who love the Country Bears. Definitely goes back to childhood and how at age 4 I was convinced a few of the bears were real. So yeah, I'm the one adult in the theatre who actually claps her hands and stomps her feet (and sings along) and doesn't care if people roll their eyes at her antics.

I'm quite surprised that no one has mentioned the Spirit of Norway movie. My family all hate it, but I adore it. Absolutely adore it.

I usually try to ride Splash Mountain as the last ride of my day so that I'm not trapped in wet clothes for very long. I've never ridden the water ride in the AK though cause like everyone who isn't crazy, I put my clothes in the dryer before wearing them because wet clothes are very uncomfortable. Might slip on a poncho and try it as a last ride of a day on the next trip because the scenery does look beautiful.

The imagination pyramid was once a favorite, but now is hardly worth the time. I've always wondered why they haven't re-done the ride portion as a Buzzlightyear style interactive ride where you help Figment and Dreamfinder capture inspiring items. And I really miss the play ground of old. I don't hate the current version, but I do feel resentful that it's so thoroughly un-inspiring.
Wow ~ you had me laughing here and nodding my head several times. I enjoy the Spirit of Norway movie too, but I'm good seeing only every once in awhile. And put me down as someone who would welcome some sort of Imaginative attraction for the Imagination pavilion!
I love, LOVE The Spirit of Norway :D One of my absolute favs.

Working fine as of last month.
That is a relief. I was starting to worry...
I hope it doesn't close! It is always apart of my Epcot trip. I would miss it so much!

I've not done the Country Bear Jamboree since I was a child, and I don't really care to now.

I was not sad when "Sounds Dangerous" closed - I'd written it off long ago.

I think I'm done with the Tea Cups too ....

One night I was at Epcot alone...my wife was at school that night.I have been on Mission Space at least a handful of times before and I decided to go on Mission Space cause my wife will only go on the green launch..so I must have done the orange launch Like four or five times in a row on the last landing I was feeling it....but if I had more time I think I was good for a few more launches ...I love that ride :peter_pan:

Hmmm, that would be interesting to see how I felt after riding it several times in a row. It doesn't bother me, but it might if I kept going around. Did you have to exit and keep getting back in line, or did they let you stay on?

I found on my last trip, that for me, the fourth ride of Expedition Everest was one too many. The line was just too short to resist...but now I know.

Oh wow I completely forgot about "Sounds Dangerous". Never even went to it once. All the reviews I've ever read on that attraction were extremely poor. As a matter of fact I never got the chance to go on that river cruise around Animal Kingdom with the dragon's cave and all that jazz...i heard it was boring, but who cares? It's a river cruise for crying out loud.

Ditto...DW and I rode EE 5 times in a row...and my stomach decided to stay in my throat after that 5th ride. We had a blast...but my body told me it was time to stop. ;)

My Mom and I actually liked Sounds Dangerous. It was silly, but oh so much fun with the surround sound. I suppose audiences today wouldn't find it that exciting since surround sound is everywhere.
I think that river cruise at AK was very short lived and only seasonal at that. I don't know anyone that got to experience that attraction :(

My parents have always instilled in my sister and myself that we would always try a ride at least once. The last time we went as a family in 2005 Mission Space was still rather new. I am a ride junkie and was looking forward to riding it. NEVER AGAIN will I ride it. The wait was over 90 minutes long. I have a touch of claustrophobia, and usually when I am on rides it does not kick in, but on this ride it kicked in full force. Also, I am pretty sure I had a panic attack during the ride. By the end of the ride I had set off an asthma attack. Like I said...NEVER AGAIN will I ride Mission Space. I have been on some pretty intense rides before and have NEVER experienced the type of reaction I had while riding on Mission Space.

I am looking forward to getting back to WDW in the future because so many things have been added like Soarin', EE, and although it hasn't been added my dad keeps talking about this amazing thing called a Dole Whip?!?!? :?:

I'm guessing this was prior to green team. Which is actually not as bad as orange. My mom and I are horribly claustrophobic and we both were able to ride green with no problems. I have severe vertigo so orange is out forever for me.

I've never done the Mission Space ride and need to figure out what it's like. The only ride I won't go on again is Tower of Terror. I don't do those drop rides easily. Went on it once with friends about 5 years ago and just won't do it again.

Nothing else is on my "won't ride" list. All the rides are great at Disney!

Astro Orbiter - and the Tea Cups with kids who are big enough to make them spin - my inner ears evidently don't like going in circles!
