Have you eaten at Teppan Edo before? I'll be curious to see what you think of the dining package. Especially if you think the reserved seating was worth the extra cost.

My husband said we should get those signature books on our next trip for our 3 kids....still not too excited about standing in line for that, when we could be going on a ride
You should check around on the internet (maybe TouringPlans.com) to see if anyone has tips on how to get autographs quickly and with minimal effort. Everything at WDW is planned to the T...which means there is a formula for figuring it out and taking advantage of it.
That's a great idea BIG! I'm sure there is someone who has plotted everything out and has shared it online!
I'm with you Monakie78, I just don't care to spend time in line for characters. I like to get a photo of them, but I don't want a photo with them! And that is a challenge as they don't want you snapping photos of the characters while other people are greeting them....that makes it hard because so many of the meet and greets are now whisked in and out from backstage

When I went to DW with some friends in college, we figured out a short cut. When the parades were going on, we positioned ourselves so it looked like we were superimposed next to the characters as they came into the background & then we snapped a photo. No wait, silly pictures, good times......

That's a good idea about touringplans. I'll see what I can find....

I'm not a huge fan of parades, either. We got stuck on the Pirates side of MK in 2008, and wanted DESPERATELY to be on the other side. We searched in vain for a place to cross. I learned at that point to pay attention to parade times and make sure I'm on a side I want to be on before it starts. :)

No, this will be a first at Teppan Edo for us. We had reservations there in 2010, but then they closed it for refurbishment while we were there, so we had to switch to another restaurant. Will let you know what we think.

I've never been to Animal Kingdom, ate at a table service restaurant, or visited any of the resorts. Hopefully I can change that next year.

That would be cool. I don't care if I stay at the Contemporary, but I would like to eat in the restaurant and see the fireworks from above!

You have never been to the Animal Kingdom?? Really? Do you always have short trips and not have time?

I haven't been to the parks since 1999 and AK didn't seem that interesting back then. I would certainly go now.

I know a lot of people don't care for Animal Kingdom all that much, but my Mom and I really enjoy it :D

My animal-loving almost-14-year-old would be REALLY upset if we skipped AK. Like, mutiny upset.

I told hubby I want to stay in the Contemporary once, with a MK view room. I've always wanted to stay there just once. And then after that, I'll be good if we don't do it again. Same goes for Wilderness Lodge, Animal Kingdom Lodge, and Beach Club. Maybe even Boardwalk. We'd better start saving our birthday money.

We've stayed at the AK lodge a couple of times. The first time, we had just got in our room and the CM opened the curtains. There was a giraffe looking in our window and Baloo got so excited she was in tears.

Looking at your list, I was surprised how many of those items we have in common:
