I actually like all of the fireworks shows. I absolutely adore exploding bursts of light in the sky and marvel at them whenever we go. I especially like the fireworks that are shaped like smiley faces! :D

Illuminations in its various forms has always been my favorite. Besides the awesome music and feel to the show there at 2 reasons I think that sets it apart for me. First, I don't feel the need to queue up for a long while to experience the show like a MK firework show or fantasmic. I can experience it from pretty much anywhere, even walking around. It feel less like a performance and more like an organic happening in the park. Secondly, and tell me if you experience this too I don't get that sad end of day feeling after when the park is closing. Both at MK and DHS when the shows are over and you start the long crowded filing to the exits I get that melancholy "nuts, the day is over, I don't want it to end" feeling. After Illuminations when "Promise" starts playing softly and I make a slow lap of the lake and usually leave by the international gateway since I love staying at the Disney World Swan I feel satisfied and never bitter.

Sweet! I'm not the only one who does that.
Hoping to go back to the Magic soon.

Bravetaylor: Awsome thought. You are right about being bummed after the shows at MK and DHS. :D :goofy:

I do love Illuminations, HOWEVER, I have to say I am ready for a change. I certainly don't know how they would top it, but I do hope they give it a try one day  . I also hope they bring back the parade at EPCOT. Don't know why it ever left. Doesn't make any sense to me. They would never dream of leaving MK without a parade of some sort, why EPCOT? I chose Wishes because it's what I was in the mood to see when I made my choice :goofy_bounce: Anyone else ready for a change regarding Illuminations, or would you miss it too much?

We didn't watch Illuminations at all this trip, mostly because of the crowds and not wanting to deal with them afterward. :) I love the music but you're right, it does need a refresh.

The parade you're talking about - do you mean the nightly children's processional through the WS before Illuminations?

Hmmm I think it may be Tapestry of dreams parade that Sharonofwindham is thinking of but I may be wrong. This was one of my favourite parades loved the music and the puppets.

That is the parade I was thinking of as well. I really did like that parade too ~ the music was so pretty and the puppets and people on stilts were amazing!

This is a great poll! I just really can't decide!!! I love them all so so much.
I have to go with Wishes though. I always feel really happy after that show, like I just can't leave the "mouse-trap".

The most exciting part of Illuminations for me is when the torches get "blown" out :figment: :goofy_bounce: :ccat: :hatter_bounce: :mickey2:

Hands down for me, Illuminations Reflections of Earth. My second would be Wishes, of course. With Illuminations I just also love the soundtrack and music they use during the show! :D :goofy:
