Bummer.... just got my turn down letter for the Disney Mom's panel

That's OK, I have Subsonic, we don't need no stinking badges!

Thanks Jacca... let's start our own Disney Mom's panel, how about that??? Kind of like the un-official guide to Walt Disney World, we will be the Un-official Disney Mom's Panel. I will start it today!

I have experience as I ran an underground newspaper at my high school while I was the editor of the official school newspaper. If you are wondering, yup, I got in trouble

but it was worth it

Well, I have some news on the Disney Mom's Panel...Sadly, neither F1gment nor I were selected

but someone from the town about 10 miles away from us was chosen

It said in the paper she has been a DVC member since 2003 and that is her area of expertise on the panel.
I suppose there is always next year for the rest of us...sigh...

Got an email today about applying for the Mom's Panel again in September. They are looking for a few new positions this year...

New for this year, Disney Parks is seeking a first-ever Sports Team Mom. The best match for this position will have experience planning team travel to ESPN's Wide World of Sports Complex and know how to combine athletics with a dash of Pixie Dust for a fun-filled family vacation.

Disney is also seeking bilingual panelists and international travelers who have experienced Disney vacations around the world to share their smarts on the site.

Good luck to all who apply. I'm not a good match for Sports Team Mom or Bilingual, but I have been fortunate enough to visit a few other parks internationally, so hopefully that will give me a bit of an edge. At the very least, I know I will be applying again this year!

Oh I so want to be on the Disney Moms Panel! I thought about it before but I missed it by not having gone the previous year! Ugh stupid car that I had to buy instead of a Disney vacation

Thanks for the vote of confidence Sleepy. The panel is decided by the powers that be though. All we can do is enter and hope for the best. I encourage everyone to try. How cool would it be if a Subsonic Radio person made it!!
