Well, I certainly still like book in hand for certain things too, but the iBooks App allows you to download the books and include all the identical color photos that appear in the book. Both the Unofficial Guide and the Birnbaum books are available and whether using your phone or notebook, well, I like packing as light as possible, so it's a nice, all-color way to go. Just a possible option if you can't get to a bookstore before the trip. (And I don't have to dust them later  )

Right, that would be too small to get your full photo/text experience; I only did the follow-up so that anyone else interested could know the books, in the their colorful glory, are available thru an iTune App. I truly understand that you are looking at the options to get even more excited about your upcoming trip. I peruse the web frequently for articles, photos, etc and I don't even have a trip planned right now

I see your point about packing light DisneySpin!! I actually have a Kindle but still prefer books.I guess I'm just old school about the smell and feel of a good paper book!!Nothing like having a brand new copy in your hand!!

Your 8 year old offers to give directions and recommendations to anyone on the resort bus who will listen, all the while the 4 year old, who we refer to as our little souvenir nods her approval.

When you know that crowds are starting to die down because of the time change for Wishes (Tonight was at 9 yesterday 10).

There was a change in the time for Wishes? Is that for the fall and winter when the sun sets earlier or it is for some other reason?

When the crowds die down, the parks don't stay open as long as when school is out (Holidays stand out most with closings closer to midnight). Seeing as how Summer Break for school is just about over all over the country, the crowds aren't as big as they were. And as for when the sun sets, thanks to daylight savings time, it doesn't set until sometime after seven for most of the year. Sucks because it feels more like it's 3 - 4pm when it's really after 6:30pm. :x

When you meet up with a friend and their family (fellow boardmembers) in a mall and carry on a Disney World conversation just a few stores down from the Disney Store.
