I forgot to add that one! I love the candy shop smells too! I love going in there even just to smell around lol.

Oh my goodness ~ yes. There is nothing like that slap of Florida humidity as you exit the a/c to let you know you have arrived!

Haha, well I live in the south, and I lived in Orlando for 6 years, so I am pretty used to that slap of humidity... but one smell and taste I never got used to was that sulfur y smell and taste of the Orlando water table.
When we lived there we called it Baskin Robbins because it was always a different flavor in the water, sulfur was normal but sometimes it could be chlorine or mineral y or occasionally slightly salty.

I believe I saw a video somewhere (most like the Tube of You) and they had a taste contest between San Francisco water, some Maine water, Florida water and New York.......there's really no contest there. Maine came out first. But the thing I do remember them talking about is how sweet Florida water is.

The Florida water does have a distinct smell and taste. That is one of the first things we bought when we stayed with friends down there for F1gment's HS reunion. Bottled water? ~ yes please!

I am biased on where to get them of course, but best buy has a nice bottle filter system in 2 sizes as well as the matching extra filters in many colors.. :)

You know that smell in the Universe of Energy when you see the Dinosaurs. That smoggy smell. I smell that outside from time to time when the temperatures shift drastically....as soon as the smell hits my nose, it takes me back! Too funny, the Universe of Energy song just started up as I'm typing this. Wish I was there!

Yeah, that smell sounds way more appealing when you are actually in the Universe of Energy ~ not so much in the real world
(I'm smelling the home made, not from a box, brownies that are almost done baking in the oven! Can't wait!!)

I could smell Rome burning the last time we went, but it was definitely more subdued.

So I wasn't the only one who thought that... I was so disappointed . I LOVE the "fall oi Rome" smell.

Sorry I have to laugh a little bit at the smell of the water.

Since I lived in Orlando for years, I became QUITE familiar with the Orlando water system.. We called it "Baskin Robbins" because it was always 31 flavors... usually it was suflury (Disney water is always very sulfury to me) or sometimes it was minerally or even sometimes a bit chlorinated.. You never quite knew which it would be. But when I visit Disney I always smell that sulfury water or taste it in the water fountains and it reminds me of when I lived there.. LOL

I really noticed it, too, especially when I ran the water warm to wash my hands. YUCK! Glad we brought filtering water bottles with us!!
