Re: Your Absolute Favorite WDW Resort
I have not gone enough to wdw to really make my opinion count but I like to stay at Pop Century.I don't need my room to be fancy,I just use it to crash in at night! we enjoy Pop because everything is centrally located and easy to get to in the resort.I also like the bus schedule and the fact that you don't share a bus usually with other resorts. However,my husband pointed out to me that as close as Art of animation is to pop, that might change, they might share with them. Does anyone know if that might now be the case?

I don't know for sure, but I would think they would retain their own separate bus systems, at least at the beginning and end of the day. They might combine the routes during the day when there is less demand, but I don't see them combining them all the time.

Len is the one who knows a TON about the bus system. You might want to PM him and see if he has any insider info when it comes to the buses for the resorts...

Never been there, but I have watched videos on Youtube, and it REALLY looks nicegocubs89 wrote:My absolute favorite has to be Port Orleans - French Quarter, It is a very intimate resort, close access to Downtown Disney and Typhoon Lagoon, its quieter than some of the other resorts! It's easy to fall in love with this resort.

By far the greatest is Polynesian Resort. One of the best ambience resorts, great food, classic soundtrack and brings back many great memories of my childhood.

I think the Polynesian has gotten the most comments on this thread, not sure as I didn't count. And I have to say that the Poly sparks some nostalgia in me even though I have never stayed there, never mind as a child, and I so envy anyone who has. I just love everything about it and would love to stay there one day. My dream come true would be to buy back into the DVC when they add the Poly, if that rumor is trueJonathanCC wrote:By far the greatest is Polynesian Resort. I would not be surprised if they started running together, at least during the off seasons. We usually stay at Pop, so I will let you know if it starts. As of last week they were still separate.brerrabbit1 wrote:I have not gone enough to wdw to really make my opinion count but I like to stay at Pop Century.I don't need my room to be fancy,I just use it to crash in at night! we enjoy Pop because everything is centrally located and easy to get to in the resort.I also like the bus schedule and the fact that you don't share a bus usually with other resorts. However,my husband pointed out to me that as close as Art of animation is to pop, that might change, they might share with them. Re: Your Absolute Favorite WDW Resort
Staying at the Beach Club for a couple days in March, so hopefully I'll have a new favorite on my list! And seeing as how you can walk to Epcot or to the Boardwalk, I think it'll be a total blast. Anyone got some insider info on that resort? Definitely has a different vibe than what I'm used to (AKL/OKW)

I can't remember if Len and his folks stay at Beach Club or Yacht Club...but I know he knows the lay of the land. Maybe if mother nature will allow he can be of some help.
