Group Projects are Evil!
I'm in the middle of a group project right now and am being driven insane. My group keeps telling me they're going to do things, only to find that what they're trying to do isn't even possible. I'm in charge of the write-up and it's going to be at least 30 pages. The whole thing is due Monday, and I'm going to have to spend the rest of the weekend working to get it done. Does anyone else out there despise group projects as much as I do?!
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

The bain of students everywhere - college, high school, etc. Why the teachers insist on them is beyond me. "Real World" - whatever. "Group projects" at work are never as bad as what they dump on you at school.

I always take charge of my group projects, even if I'm not put in charge. I find that group projects don't get done unless I make sure they get done right, meaning my way. Any successful project requires entrepreneurial ability in some form.

I have mixed feelings on group projects. There are people who take charge and it works well. Then there's times when no one has ideas and/or no one wants to do anything. I hate getting the lazy students in my group. But if you can choose groups, then it's all right. I'd probably rather do a group project than a one person presentation *gulp*

Oh, and "Welcome Home."

Your teachers are right though. A lot of the projectws we do around here at my office are group projects.
And you don't always get to work with who you want to, or who you like.
I enjoy group projects sometimes more then solo's. I always tend to learn new ways of doing things.
