I just dunno about Mission Space so I have always erred on the side of caution and haven't done it.
I wonder if it is like a few other attractions where they have a test simulator so you can get strapped in to see how it fits? I know sum of All Thrills has a pod that a CM attends to help people see if they will be ok in the Kuka arm simulator. Might be worth asking anyhow. Then you might be able to try it out without having to wait in the queue, and then find out you can't do it

My hubby and friends have ridden it many times and they never mentioned that there was one.. If there had been I am sure he would have suggested that I try it to see. But it was a good idea, thanks.

They are just having too much fun to notice

I don't know if there is one, I've only been on this attraction a few times myself. But it never hurts to ask. Even if they don't have an official "try it out and see" seat, maybe they could fix you up as part of that whole awesome guest experience

Worst they can say is "no" ~ then you just have to ask someone else later. I've often found you can get lots of different answers to the same exact question depending on who you ask. It's a big place!

Can you ride the teacups if you don't spin your cup? Or is the spinning of the saucer holding the cups enough to cause problems?

I agree with this. I can ride any roller coaster or thrill ride out there, but put me on spinning rides and I always end up with a headache.
It doesn't help that I went on the Tea Cups with my brother and boyfriend, who decided to spin the wheel as fast as possible though...

Well as for me, I'm not sure as we were spinning it thinking spinning equals fun right? I guess it's worth another shot to try that. I would probably have to ride without my vertigo-free/spin-like-crazy 3yo and 9yo though because I'm sure I would be wanting to spin it again with them

Looking back on it I'm still glad I did it just for seeing them having fun and happy and being able to share that with them.

Amen to inability to do tea cups. Too much spinning, too many circles.

I don't think anyone will ever find me at the Country Bear Jamboree ever again...once or twice was more than enough! I still can't believe they actually made a movie about it

. WHY?? Did anyone actually pay to see it?!
