Slowest Monorail ride Ever!

My sister works the Monorail platform, and said the driver was following protocol. The pilots, for safety reasons, cannot run over an obstruction on the tracks - a squirrel is considered an obstruction.

And in cases of a major incident that requires a quick evacuation of the train; one that cannot wait until rescue comes, the pilots are trained to evac the passengers and walk them along the beam to the nearest station.

And they also must hit the brakes when stupid guests decide to go into restricted zones like yesterday...

Oh, five teenage boys somehow made it into the restricted areas and were trying to jump onto the tracks from the platform. The train came to this horrid screeching halt and boy was the guy working at the other end of the paltform MAD. They had to get security to lead them out.

as for those stupid teens, hope they get the BFL <banned for life> from disney resorts... had a kid get decapitated at SFoverGA, trying to sneak in the park under Batman...
