Yeah, it also would make sense to sell off pieces of rides - a la Yankee Stadium selling off stadium seats
Disney is one of the few companies that can get away with offering it's trash at a premium to people. When they did the disneyana convention in California in 2001 (it was so 9/10) people clammored at the opportunity to buy things like old autopia bodies (just the used fiberglass body and possibly the bumper), old signs, banners, clothes, etc.

Coming back on topic...
If you were an imagineer and you had the pavilion to work with as is, that is you had to keep the Cranium Command, Body Wars and Making of Me theater infrastructure intact (although you could redress/retheme them) would you keep a HEALTH THEME or change to some other theme?

That's what I figured too...but ST has catchy music too!

Maybe they could re-do the "A Little Priest" song from Sweeney Tood to include by-gone ride characters such S.I.R., skippy, the Alien, Timekeeper, and so on.

We've been to EPCOT every March for the past 5 or 6 years and the WOL has never been open. We were wondering what it was...

Thank you for posting that!!!

(not to mention that 2 of my fave songs from the loop are the background music for the video!

Nice! I'll have to check it out later since the computer is being awfully slow this morning

EDIT: A day late and always a dollar short, but I got to watch the video this evening. I really liked that pavilion. My favorite attraction was Cranium Command

So sad that it sits empty until it is used for the different festivals when they need more space

Yes, thanks for posting that....kinda makes me want to cry though

. I remember taking my girls in there and how much my oldest (now 21) loved "The Making of Me" and how they both loved to play in the little houses where they floors were crooked and how they liked to sit on their dad and my lap and pedal those bikes through the paths at Disneyland....sniff sniff

I miss this pavilion so much! My fiance tells me that I am only feeling nostalgic toward it because it isn't there anymore but I really did like Body Wars!

Very sad the WoL is gone, too. I have the same memories as others have mentioned of my daughter riding her bike through the MK. Plus, Cranium Command was so funny and well-written. A few of the personalities might be lost on the youngest generation now, but for any SNL or Cheers people, the show had such a good cast! I also liked how well they handled that awkward junior high time of life, humorous, yet sensitive.

I really connected with Cranium Command because I was around the same age as the "avatar" Buzzy controlled when WOL first opened. I was a big fan of the whole pavilion, including the small exhibits like the optical illusions and the stationary bike with the MK video.
I would love a pin with a piece of Buzzy. I have the pin with the Alien Encounter bit inside.
I really need to get back to WDW before any other favorites close down.
