Original Illuminations?

Would anyone else enjoy having the original Illuminations back for a run? I think some sort of change is in order, and I just loved the way they used to illuminate each individual country during the show.

I do miss the individual illumination and I kind of believe that the original had more laser effects in it. With EPCOT's 30th around the corner a surprise could be in order but I highly doubt it.

I liked that version of Illuminations the best. I also enjoyed how each country got their own little effects in the show
I would hope they would do something special for the 30th, but you never can tell anymore...

Oh how I hope they don't change it. The current Illuminations muical score alone is far better. The laser technique is so out dated now, I can't see them changing anything that big even for the 30th. Its far to popular now.

But they could do something new that is more technologically advance ~ look at how awesome the castle show is with the projections!

That (light mapping buildings) probab will never happen, because they would end up with a black void in Morocco since there is some rule about lights and that's why it doesn't show up in illuminations.

Is it against their religion or something? They could just mention them, or use music to convey their country perhaps...

I'm not sure if it's strictly the Islamic faith that it comes from (Norway's church is also not lit up) or if it's just because it's a replica of any religious structure. Either way, it is considered off limits to use them in shows.
