When in doubt, ask yourself "What would Metta Worldpeace do?" The answer is always the same: start throwin' 'bows at foes.

I think if someone is willing to play at the queues and it's time for the line to move, I'm moving with it. I don't mind if they want to jump back in line, but if they don't, I'm not waiting for them. My biggest pet peeve with the lines are when I'm behind that person with a HUGE backpack who keeps moving around and slamming me with the backpack when we're in a tight space (like for the Pooh ride). What are these people carrying in those packs? It's not like they need a tent and sleeping bag for later in the day. I understand carrying a few snacks and a water bottle, but some of the people are prepared to climb Mount Everest for real!!

 I know exactly what you are talking about. Usually there are 3 or 4 bouncing children to complete the package. Smacked by the backpack, stomped on by the children, bumped by the backpack, coughed on by the children....sigh...

It's all alot easier to endure though, when it's 70 degrees rather than 95!

 Guilty as charged huh? That's ok. I also can sympathize with how your day must be going when you are lugging that 40 pound backpack and are parenting those bouncing children  :D

It's probably just as well that I only work with children...and don't have any of my own! ;)

Oh my gosh, I know! Me, I basically go into the parks with a small crossbody to hold my CM ID, wallet, phone, car keys, and hand sanitizer. Why those mountaineer backpacks are necessary.... and how can they stand it in the heat of the sumer???

I would definitely ask. I have a massive pet peeve about people not noticing the line is moving too, but my number one pet peeve is people in lines pretending other people don't exist. I've gotten stepped on, kicked, whacked with those stupid mountaineering backpacks, and ignored in lines too many times to count. It really bugs me, so I'd hate to do it to someone else.

I used to go to Disney with no bags, ever. That was before the kids. Now I have to bring a backpack or two just to pack the essentials. I try not to whack anyone with it though!
Hoping to go back to the Magic soon.

I remember the days post-diaper bag but pre-independence where my "purse" was actually a small leather backpack that had my stuff, plus baby Tylenol, a pouch of crayons, two pullups, wet wipes, hand sanitizer, assorted bandaids, a pair of scissors, and a book or two. But I wonder why people who don't have young children drag a backpack around?
