At DLR, the years leading up to the close of our version had sparse numbers of people, esp in the off season, then when they had the closing date set (and a disneyana convetion the same weekend) the show was packed for the first time in ages.
Awe man I laughed out loud when I read the first sentence! Too funny! Thanks for the laugh, I even laughed when I read it again! Well said!

I'm glad they are renovating it. It was definitely a bit musty and dusty. It's a good concept but not very modern. Hopefully a renovation will make it have a little more appeal to all instead of the very young.

The appeal for me is the fact that it's a throwback to times before everything was done through a video screen of some sort. I'm glad Disney has kept some things, like COP and CBJ, in their mostly original condition. Disney has always been at least decent, if not skilled, at helping young people connect with "old" stuff, like 1930s Hollywood, ragtime, etc.

Yeah I love the good ol' CBJ! I would vote for maybe a clean up or refreshing but to not touch the original idea of this one, it's just a classic that is still loved. My 9yo son still wanted to see it and we did too so it's still loved by "old"

and young in our family

I haven't visited CBJ in quite some time. I'll have to give it a shot after the renovation, although I may not even remember what it was like from before to notice any differences.

Trust me, if all the bears and critters' eyes are looking in the same general direction, it will be an improvement

Too funny! I didn't realize it was that bad. We didn't see it this last time and the time before we were pretty far back I guess to realize. They should have before and after pictures
