No, that curtain is real! It uses an AR mirror to show the changes in the tire salon. (Actually I'm going off the video since I got the paint job side when I rode)

Do we know when they will be reopening test track? We are going down in late November...my son really enjoys test track. He would miss it if it was shut down.

Depends on who you ask. Some say September, others say October and then there are the people who say November, December and even not til sometime in January. No one will know exactly when until Disney themselves confirm it (and even then it isn't a guarantee).

I think a press thing had the slated goal being November, so they can get the winter tourists and possibly a spot on the christmas day special, but this can all change if something doesn't work.

Thanks...Sounds like we will be there closer to the end of their schedule. Hopefully it will open. If not...its not like there aren't other things to do.

I'm hoping for a September reopening. I was never keen on the queue, but the ride itself was always a must do!

I'm going in January, so I hope the refurb doesn't linger on until then. My mom absolutely loves this ride. I hope it doesn't change too much, I liked it the way it was. I even liked the video before the ride!
