Splash Mountain music is fine and dandy, but "There's a great big beautiful..." makes me go crazy...uh in a not good way.rick2vick wrote:The music on Splash Mountain keeps me humming all day. Another favorite (although it's really a show and not a ride) is the Carousel of Progress. It's been two months since I was there, and I still walk around singing "There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow".
"A pirate in irons be full o' guile.
And the blackest 'art wears the broadest smile."
Oh, and "Welcome Home."

Fantatic music, but disappointing it's not original Disney music.Halvogirl wrote:i would have to say Indy because it gets you so into the action!

I voted for Splash Mountain but it really is a 50/50 toss-up between Splash and PoC. I also like the Phantom Manor music from DL Paris, especially with the Vincent Price narration!

*Current ride*, hmmm... if we're thinking Disneyland/Magic Kingdom, could easily be Pirates, HM, or Splash Mountain. But I put "none of these" for Soarin' Over California, and the request count seems to agree with me!
Maybe that's just 'cause it's newer and I/we've not gotten over our initial admiration of the Soarin' theme. It is nice, though.

Well, It looks like I'm alone in my choice of music. I'm the only one who has voted for Star Tours. Ok, so I'll try and get my point across to all of you who don't agree. Now, yes I agree that those popular rides that most of you picked have classic songs that we all know and love. But for really great on ride music, not audio, it would have to be Star tours. For all who have seen the 50th fireworks at DL, isn't it just the awesomest feeling when the Star Wars Score just blasts it's powerful beginning notes. It kinda makes you want to be a Star Wars nerd. So there you go that's my attempt to bring you to the dark side. (hahaha...corny joke. I know.)
I do stuff sometimes.

Currently...
Haunted Mansion would take it. Ten years ago, I would've put Space Mountain on top of the list, due to the exit music. But if you add all the rides, past and present, into the mix, nothing at WDW tops old-school EPCOT (Tomorrow's Child, New Horizons, You Make the World Go Round, It's Fun to Be Free).
