Re: Ending a trip to WDW
We either end them with going back to Magic Kingdom or Hollywood. Our first trip with the kids we ended with Magic Kingdom and I remember the fun craziness of it all ...shopping right after Wishes and heading to the bus to go back to the resort. We have also ended our trip with Hollywood which looking back on it was more restful but upon looking back on it was just missing something. We just got back and ended with Hollywood again after talking ourselves out of going back to Magic Kingdom which this time we regret (which is in the regret thread ) just because of things we didn't do our first day at Magic Kingdom and figured we would do when we went back at the end of our trip. So looking back on it this time we will probably end our next trip Lord willing with Magic Kingdom. But after falling in love with the Dinosaur ride at AK for some strange reason this trip I might just have to get a hopper pass for that ride every day and end my WDW trip with that ride

No matter what time our flight leaves, I don't like to go to a park, and usually hang out at the resort until we venture to the airport. I'm a nervous nelly when it comes to making flights
The day before I leave I like to park hop a bit, and this ALWAYS includes EPCOT
. The others could be MK or AK. I remember leaving AK for the last time on one visit, and seeing the toucan exit sign with his wing waving. I thought, hopefully I would be back real soon

Re: Ending a trip to WDW
We used to always end with MK and Pan. But lately, we've expanded beyond MK. Last trip, we ended with a couple of trips on Star Tours. Given that next trip we'll probably finish at DHS again, I'm foreseeing a repeat.
Perhaps the real question is which ride would you end on at each park. Here's my answers:
MK - Peter Pan
DHS - Star Tours
Epcot - Spaceship Earth (of course!)
AK - this one is the hardest because it's hard to imagine finishing at AK because it closes so early. However, if pushed, I'd say it would have to be Expedition Everest, front car.

Interesting question momeja!
MK - Haunted Mansion (that's the one we always go for)
DHS - Muppet Visions 3D
EPCOT - Spaceship Earth (futureworld)/American Adventure (world showcase)
AK - It's Tough to Be a Bug

Re: Ending a trip to WDW
Just returned from our month long stay in Orlando/Kissimmee. Our 8 WDW days were spread over a two week span and we ended that 2 weeks with a day at MK. We had lunch at Crystal Palace with Pooh and the gang and then spent the day mostly in Tomorrowland, Frontierland, and Adventureland. It was our older DD 1st day in the Parks; she and her boyfriend joined us around day 14 of our stay. Her boyfriend is from Ireland and he had never been to WDW so that was really an experience for us and for him!
My memory is that we almost always spend our last WDW day in MK and we normally start in Epcot.
THIS trip, 15 year old DD and I spent our next to last day of our month in Downtown Disney and we had a blast, just she and I. We spent alot of time (and money) in the Marketplace.

Re: Ending a trip to WDW
This year, we couldn't decide between Epcot and MK for our last day... so we just went to both. Spaceship Earth was our last attraction at Epcot, and at MK we didn't even go on any attractions, we just sat down on Main Street and relaxed for an hour. It was wonderful.
Hoping to go back to the Magic soon.

That is something I haven't done much of at WDW is just sit, and enjoy the surroundings...that is going to be a definite priority for my next visit. I can't imagine any better place to do this than Main Street USABenB wrote:This year, we couldn't decide between Epcot and MK for our last day... so we just went to both. I always think I want to do something relaxing like this, but then I get there and I'm too excited to sit stillSharonofwindham wrote:That is something I haven't done much of at WDW is just sit, and enjoy the surroundings...that is going to be a definite priority for my next visit. During the last trip, we spent our last morning at Epcot and have planned to do so again (although, it will be 1 AM this time). There is something positive about riding Spaceship Earth and then just walking out of the park. It leaves us with a "good, final memory of the trip"
