That is something they should have never changed. The monorail spiel is iconic Disney.

Glad I'm not the only one who hates this (I'm concurring with MadEye's original post)!! It's so annoying! No personality. Like one of those automatic computer voices. Who actually talks like that?

Alas. I've not been there recently to hear the new voice, so I can't give an opinion. However, if I had been and didn't feel it was up to Disney standards, I would certainly contact Guest Services with my feedback. They do listen -- especially on inexpensive fixes!

I agree... and as for the person who said it was an easy fix and to complain? I would agree with putting in complaints to Guest Services, but I would argue that paying a person to record and then implementing it across the World is probably not as inexpensive as one would think.

the fix should be just as easy as plugging into each train and uploading the new .wav file... as for the audio voiceover? who knows...

i would expect each train would have a DACS(or equivalent), like the busses do, triggered by transponders on the road(beam) to call the appropriate track... either an upload or a fresh CDROM....
