You and my mom both. :)

I'm in love with Sanaa. I've dined there twice in six weeks and find it more and more fabulous each time. Of course part of it is because I get 40% off for lunch so it is really affordable. But the food is so different yet not too wild, and I love the service as well. And the view!

Editing my post. I didn't remember that I already replied to this topic in Feb.

Anyone have a favorite they truly didn't expect to enjoy going into it?

DW and I were a little unsure about Boma, but had read great reviews on it. She cannot stand buffet-style meals, so that's probably why we were hesitant. Needless to say, we both loved it and plan on going back there on our next trip, especially if we go with a group or with kids. We also want to stay at AKL, which would make eating at Boma even easier.

Yes, Via Napoli. DH really wanted to go there last trip. I was kind of like: Pizza at WDW? What's so special about that? We were really surprised by it. The pizza was outstanding and the service was excellent. We were in and out in a little over an hour and we didn't feel rushed at all. They just were really attentive servers. We definitely plan to go back there next trip.

I take a trip (with my hubby and friends) every Feb to Disney. This year was the first time we got to see the Wilderness Lodge. We didn't stay there (a shame) but we did eat there. I know it sounds silly, but the quick service restaurant at the bottom of the walkway (Maybe its The Roaring Fork? I am not sure). It had two lines, one for pasta and such and such and one or burgers and sandwiches.
We used the dining plan, it came it PLENTY of food and it was yummy and we had a bit of an issue with one of our party members and they were very accommodating.

Its odd to have a quick serve as a favorite, but I hope we go back next year.

There was also a seafood restaurant between the Yacht and Beach Club hotels that was AWESOME years ago.

I'm going to be arriving in WDW a day before my friends arrive. Thinking about a nice steak that first night. Can't decide between Yachtsman and Le Cellier. Any thoughts....

My answer depends on whether you are planning on being there an entire day before your friends, and therefore would have an additional day on your park ticket, or not. :) In other words, I don't think I would add the expense of another day to my ticket if it was just to go to Le Cellier. I don't know about the Yachtsman quality, but I do know that when I ate at Le Cellier in 2008 it was amazing and when we ate there in 2010 it was just plain good.

This probably doesn't help one iota, does it? :)
