If this simple little area can look this good...it makes me even more excited to see what the rest of the New Fantasyland will look like at completion!!!
I had heard about the LED lighting in the water at Dumbo ~ it looks fantastic!

Everything always seems a little bit more magical when it is lit up at night...

In some ways, I like being at the MK and WS at night better than during the day. Anyone else?

Yes...all of the parks look amazing at night.
Actually...DHS probably looks better at dusk...when there is a "twilight". It makes ToT look soooooo much scarier!

You've never been on Dumbo?!

How could that be possible?! Were the lines always a bit too intimidating??

long andout in the sun... i have never been on dumbo, aladdin, rockets, the cera-top spin... they are all the same mechanism as the portable carnies that come through town... not interesting to me other than the exterior themeing, and the night time lighting.

Update: So after looking at some photos, it seems that to hide the Little Mermaid show building from view in Storybook Circus, they are creating more rock work. Not just between the tent without a closest to Dumbo and TLM but between both tents as well.

I'll go take a look later after lunch at DTD for the holiday. I'm curious about the train station most of all!

I was looking over construction update photos the other day, and I
so can't wait for the Forest side to open. I'm really excited about it all, even the Belle M&G/experience. I don't care for meeting face characters, but I will gladly try that out at least one time.
I am trying to get back to WDW in May, but between this, Test Track being closed and BTMR not reopening until shortly after I would leave, I am sort of wondering if I should wait until late fall to go. Problem is I need to make plans really soon (within the next week or so), and who knows when the BatB & TLM areas will actually open. So I will likely just rely on some of y'all to take great pictures when it finally opens and hope I get back in 2013!

Ok, it's been long enough. Here are two pics of the new Dumbo. Hopefully a video will be coming soon as well.
I love the 2nd shot as it shows the beautiful attention to detail around the base of the ride.

I love the addition of water and lighting to the base of Dumbo. I hope they keep the beautiful painted scenes looking nice as well. Thanks for sharing
