*In my best CoP voice* HEEEENNNNNNRRRRRYYYYY!!!
Awesome job so far. It makes me realize just how much I had to miss on this trip. A lot of the stuff I was going to mention has been stated by others. I guess that is what happens when you don't check this thread often enough. Couple of things though:
1) We are truly kindred spirits. I like Captain EO even though it seems like everyone else hates it. My wife also despises CoP, while it's a must do for me every trip.
2) That picture with your wife and the German sized beer is awesome (right now I'm on a strict diet and no alcohol of any kind is allowed). I now know where we will go for our next meet-up.
3) I'm so glad you allowed your son to do all 4 parks in one day. I can't wait for the outcome. I know that it probably meant a lot to him.
Amy - That's it. Next trip we hang out at EPCOT with a beer or two. Just as special as 3am in the MK.

You aren't alone, I happen to love Captain EO. Always must watch it, even if it is just to get out of the heat and in some A/C.

I know you guys have been under a ton of stress lately and I didn't want to bug you about it. I'm holding off on the last day of our report because there's pictures on there I wish to incorporate.
I hope things are getting a little better for you guys.

I like EO too because I have fond memories attached to it...but I can't stand the moving floor in DL! It was fine for a couple of parts, but it really became overkill and ruined the whole thing for me. We did not get to see it at EPCOT this past time, so I don't know if they do the same thing or not.
CoP is a definite must-do for us!!!!

I'm not an EO fan at all - mostly because I never liked Michael Jackson. Not in junior high, when he first emerged as a super-star, and certainly not during the maniacal worship that has emerged since his passing. But that's my personal taste.MmeLeota wrote:Gee, I wonder why...Soarin08 wrote:That's the part I really want to see!!MmeLeota wrote: Thanks for the update Mousekedude. Hubby and I were talking about COP and realized that we didn't do it in 2010, and the girls and I didn't go in 2008. I'm pretty sure we didn't do it in 2001 because the girls were pretty young, which means the last possible time that I went was 1983!!!

Sounds like a plan! Although you could twist my arm and I could join you in a margarita insteadNaCler wrote:Amy - That's it. Next trip we hang out at EPCOT with a beer or two. Just as special as 3am in the MK.

Yup, they use the shaker table at WDW. I didn't think it was overused though so I'm not sure if it moves less than what they have out at DL, or if it just doesn't bother me. The sound levels are enough to deafen you thoughMmeLeota wrote:...I like EO too because I have fond memories attached to it...but I can't stand the moving floor in DL! No CoP since the early 80's?!?! Oh my, you definitely must go the next trip around! If the song gets stuck in your brain, you can always hop on over to Fantasyland and ride It's a Small World. That might do the trickcy1229 wrote:...Hubby and I were talking about COP and realized that we didn't do it in 2010, and the girls and I didn't go in 2008. So it's on my list of must-dos for the next trip. Even if I'm the only one.
I predict regretting it, though, because once that song is stuck in my brain, I have a hard time getting it out. I had "Someone's Rocking my Dreamboat" (ala Terror of Terror) on my brain for 4 days two weeks ago. ALL THE TIME. That song is good, but not THAT good.

But that could cause an earworm overload and have someone singing about a Great Big Beautiful World or A small Tomorrow...

Hey everyone!!! Oh how I have missed you all and reading the reports!! I have been working a temp job at an accounting firm, and have had almsot no time to relax. I have really enjoyed everyones reports and pics!! I can't believe how long it's been already. As for my own update: Still no regular job, and pregnancy is goign well. Into our 2nd trimester, and going strong! We are hoping to take one last small Disney cruise before it's unsafe for her to travel. Even though we don't know the sex of the baby yet we agreed to do an underwater themed room! If it's a girl we'll add Little Mermaid stuff, and for a boy, Nemo!!! Hope you are all doing well!! Miss ya!! I should be checking more now!

As far as I know, they don't have the moving floor. Doesn't sound familiar.MmeLeota wrote:Gee, I wonder why...Soarin08 wrote:That's the part I really want to see!!MmeLeota wrote: Thanks for the update Mousekedude. MmeLeota - the floor does move a little bit during EO when the ship is landing and a couple of times when everyone is dancing at the end. Just enough to notice it but not overkill like DLR. I heard in DLR the floor shakes to the beat of the music. Crazy!

...in the meantime, under you find out the gender of your arrival of upcoming new family tax deduction, you can decorate the room with a little "Beautiful, Briney Sea" from Bednobs and Broomsticks. That's pretty gender neutral, and it can fit in with either Nemo or Little Mermaid as well...Amy wrote:But MmeLeota!! Re: Mayhem Marauders Meet-up Part Deux!
Thanks Mindflipper! We were thinking of ideas for names, but for now figured we would wait another 10 weeks to find out the sex. That we we can rule out half of them, lol. Looking for an M name or R name, but with my last name Rs all sound funny, like Scooby Doo talking...Rusky doens't work well, lol.

I gotta ask: why wait to find out the gender?
