Cool! How did you do that? I still haven't taken the time to figure out how to make my own sounds for my iphone :(
I was able to download an mp3 and saved it to my computer. I opened it up in iTunes, then with the track selected I clicked Advanced -> Create AAC version. I took the new version and opened it in folder by right click and show in folder. From the new version I changed the name from .m4a to .m4r. I deleted the song from the itunes playlist and clicked keep file. I went back to the folder and clicked the new .m4r and itunes opened it up in ringtones. Had the phone sink with itunes and then set the tone on the phone through Settings -> Sounds -> Text Tone. You can easily make a song a ringtone too. It would involve this process but is just a bit more complicated with one extra step.
theBIGyowski wrote:I would guess you could just use something like Garage Band to create the ring tone.
You could have, but that would take too much time. The way I do it is slightly faster and easier to do.

LEN, is it the dual-tone warning?
It is that dual tone beep that is made before the doors open. If you have an iPhone and want it, just send me a PM with your email address.
Cool ~ I'll have to try that this weekend. Thanks Len :D

I think that makes you an old WDW nut ;)
The hurried ghost host safety spiel in Spanish isn't my favorite thing for sure

When you see hidden Mickey's in the magnified virus in the movie Outbreak which you also know has an actor in it who has played Captain Hook.

Interesting choice. I would have chosen Alien and Aliens but I do like all the Alien movies (Alien Vs Predator not included).

When you're at the hardware store and you pull paint sample squares that are black, red and yellow ~ figuring you can make something Mickey-Mousey-crafty out of them in your spare time!

If you think that is a good read read than you should start reading about the background stuff. The Imagineering books are the best thing ever. Another quick but amazing read is Designing Disney by John Hench.

Ha! We do this too! Plus, several years ago we pulled the Disney paint ones...they were Mickey heads, but in each color they made. Unfortunately, we had good ideas, but lacked the execution. :? I'm sure we will come across them eventually and hopefully I'll be more motivated.

I had those too, but I think they were victims during one of my "something must go!" clean outs :(
