Read this in my All Ears newsletter:

Unfortunately, no. I bet one surfaces on a Disney blog sometime, or maybe we can get one of the CM's to go nab one for us.

I'm gonna check it out...hope they have a photo! Not really sure how rare they are in the wild, but you don't see them in video footage of a real savannah. This is really great news :goofy_bounce: :figment:

The Cincinnati Zoo used to be world leaders in breeding rare or endangered hooved animals, and they had several okapi. I always thought it looked like God had a bunch of parts from other animals left over and put the okapi together. :lol:

Haha...I thought the same thing. It looked like a small child had puzzles of several animals and pieced them together however they wanted...and the okapi is what came out. :lol:

I agree. :lol: Kind of like an animal that the Time Bandits might have put together before they were banished to shrubbery.
