How long ago did this play at Disney? I must admit I have never seen anything like this before! :D

Here are the runs for captain EO in all of the Disney parks

* Epcot from September 12, 1986 until July 6, 1994
* Disneyland from September 18, 1986 until April 7, 1997
* Tokyo Disneyland from March 20, 1987 until September 1996
* Disneyland Paris from April 12, 1992 until August 17, 1998

Captain EO can also be seen on the Extinct Attractions Club video for Journey Into Imagination. It looks like a master copy of the movie (could you buy a VHS of it there or something?). It's up to you to decide if it's worth getting the DVD though. They also have other DVDs of other vintage WDW and DL attractions. I have several and although most of it is just home video quality, it's a great keepsake for those of us who never thought to videotape Horizons (or another extinct attraction) and now wish we could see it again.

True. But almost celebrity I've ever seen has their crosses to bear. Even his. :(
