Anyone staying in a WDW Value Resort 3/5-4/30

I thought all rooms already had mini fridges or would provide them for free upon request?

the moderates and above have them, but they were upon request for value, and subject to availability...

I'm more excited about the wifi! But that is nice that they will be providing fridges for all ~ we've always requested one for medication purposes and then we have to re-request one when we arrive since they never have one in the room It is nice to have the option of having a cold bottle of water or milk or juice

I have no idea... all we know is resorts for now. I'd like free wifi in the parks, it'd be great because my 3G sucks!

Yeah I'd like it in the parks b/c I don't have a smart phone, just an Ipod touch and it would be nice to be able to use some ride time apps.

I must say, I have AT&T and had very good coverage while we were at WDW. I couldn't get reception while I was inside some of the attraction buildings' queues, but overall, I couldn't complain at all!
EDIT: Actually I thought of one thing. There was a horrible lag time for texts it seemed. Not always, but a lot of the time

I too have AT&T... I hate them. That's all I'm gonna say.

I wouldn't think the sort of phone would matter, but maybe that was it? I have an old iphone...the 3gs.

It sort of matters, and sort of doesn't. In many cases, I think, cell towers work for all the major carriers. But phone design can impact reception.

what wdw needs is MORE cellular antennas... that wouuld help reception and speeds

Yes, I wish they would get WiFi in the Parks. I have a "dumb" phone and no personal access to the internet. My daughter on the other hand has a Touch and it would be great to be able to use the ride time apps!
