Great place for Disney backgrounds

Post by DisneyYorkie » Mar Fri 09, 2012 11:44 am

Don't know about the rest of you guys, but I LOVE having WDW backgrounds on my computers! Here is a link to best site I've ever found for backgrounds. Name your favorite area, attraction, building, etc....this place has it! You can even download them in different sizes depending on what device you are displaying them.

Both of my computers have Disney World backgrounds. I personally have never looked for outside websites as I usually use my own pictures. I have thousands from each vacation so it really isn't too hard for me to find a couple of good ones that will work.

Currently my big toshiba has Spaceship Earth and my MacBook has Monorail Silver pulling into the TTC. Picture was taken from the platform so I was able to have equal level with the monorail.

Yes, they are truly amazing. On my first trip there, I got 8 or 10. You can take as many as you want. The fine print at the bottom says you can take any photos or videos for personal use. Can't use any of the images or vids for commercial use.

I'm the same way Len. I'd rather use my own photos and have lots to choose from  my laptop currently has a shot from wishes from 2 years ago, and the desktop has a picture of F1gment on the rockets at DL. She has a look of sheer joy that only shows up when we are at Disney! :D

Yes, I've been using that site for years! Currently, my work laptop has Spaceship Earth sphere from the Innoventions area pic. It's great! I'm hoping one day to expand my website to have a huge gallery of pics that users can submit (I have some of my own I will eventually put up, but they are not extremely high quality, so blowing them up to desktop size will be kinda ugly)!

I too have used that website for Disney Backgrounds.

On my last few trips, though, I have taken more pictures and have started using my own for computers and for pictures around the house. DW and I like the obscure pictures of things around WDW that aren't all that obvious that they're from WDW. So...to the untrained eye they just look like pretty pictures...but do a WDW Nut...you know exactly what it is and probably why we chose it. :)

Yes, I can sympathize! I could spend a LOOOONNNNGGGG time looking at all the choices (and, consequently, wasting a better portion of my day). I chose a few and promised I'd go back later and get more! :D

I love having Disney backgrounds on my computer! I am always adding new ones and probably have close to 50! I just have it set up so it rotates through the pictures every couple of mins.

on my Win7 laptop, i chose the best pics from my last trip home (350-500) and have it on rotate every 2 mins...

everything from the castle at night, changing colors, reflections of the castle in the ponds around the hub, to the giant rice krispie mickey face in DTD, to even an old DTD manhole cover with the old WDW D embossing

Those are nice - I especially like the floral shot along the water. That's very pretty :D

I ended up going through them all on Sunday and picking quite a few...some beautiful photos. I like the fact that they had a lot of unusual photos, not just your typical castle, Spaceship Earth, etc. One I especially love of the carousel, it really is a work of art :)
