The only reason I can think of it not working is they didn't get a high enough resolution image of the background. That's the code for the system, the image itself is worthless.

The last two days (last Friday and today) I've gotten three packs (one for leveling up to hard and the two for the respective days) and out of the fifteen (15) cards, only five (5) I haven't had yet. I would guess that would be the case. As you get more of something, it becomes harder to get what you don't have. Hopefully you can trade with people that might be lucky enough to have duplicates of the cards you need!

There was one guy who had so many Merlin cards he just gave one (without a trade) to my girlfriend and a Wall-E card to someone else last week.

For now, all the cards are free. You show your key and your park ticket and you get a new pack of five. Although you get a new five pack each day, the chances of getting a card or cards you need once you have close to forty of them gets smaller and smaller...

I think it's in beta testing so they might not do widespread promos of it yet.

Testing is a long drawn out process since they have to take data, go back, fix crap, adjust gameplay to minimize lines, etc. Once it's ready, then they will start charging.

Well, the game advertises itself, kinda. Other guests see the lines and the screens in the windows and always ask what the heck it is and when told about it, most of the time they go and get cards for their kids or themselves.

Define long lines. It isn't like guests are waiting 30+ minutes per window/portal. Only really long lines I saw were during the 24 hour event because all the regulars had nothing better to do. Since then, the longest I've waited for any window/portal is 5 minutes.
