So. As you know, we both leveled up yesterday. Because of the 24 hour event, lines were the longest I've seen for this and we didn't get much done (waiting 20+ minutes to get beat and then wait another 20+ minutes...). We wen't earlier today and learned some tricks to beating the villains (not going to spoil it for anyone so don't ask, just pay attention when you reach level 2). We've also learned that you can use as many spell cards as you want/feel is adequate.

Weirdness is compatible with ours,
We join up with them and fall in

Cool! This is fun playing via you and the internet
Have you asked if the game runs during EMH?
wait.. you can play it on the internet?!?!
No, no, no. MadEye is telling us all about it on the internet! Sorry for the confusion ~ I'm pretty good at causing that ;)

So you can play and not win?! That makes it a bit more challenging. Is it that hard only after you get to level 2, or can you not win on level 1 too??

On level two, the villains are a lot tougher. There are only certain spells that can defeat them and you have to pay attention as to which spells they are. At first, if you didn't defeat the villains, guests would try again without letting the guests behind them go. Now they made it so you have to go to another portal/line to try again. Thankfully they figured out that one quickly.

I'll have some pics of the different spells soon. I'm going to head out again tomorrow and try and complete a few more quests (what I previously called games earlier in the thread) and get some more spell cards. When I return I'll post pics of what I can.

Here are some of the spell cards. You'll notice I put the type of spells together (color of card [i.e. Toy Spells are red]), that both me and my girlfriend have cards the other doesn't and that I got both sides of the key card that activates each portal.

I apologize in advance for the flash. If you can't tell what character is obscured, go ahead and ask.

My cards:

You'll notice that I failed to see that I had a duplicate of Pumba in this shot

My girlfriends cards (it didn't want to rotate so it stayed on its side)

There are many more that we have to get. So don't be surprised if I post pics of other cards we get in the next week or two.

Those look like fun, and free!!!, souvenirs. It sounds like the game is sort of fun too. I hope it is still running, and free, when I get to WDW again...

There are 70 cards (for now). Rumblings are that 61 - 70, although they can be found in the packs of five, will be sold at a later time (no word on when).

Are the higher numbered cards for the higher levels or is it all random??

That almost makes me want to see how to fool the scanner. I am guessing it reads the frame for the image since they are so distinct.

Random. There are people who've been doing this since the beta and still don't have all the first 60.

So I found a list of all the cards with pics of each. I have not seen, nor have most of the regulars/my Cast Member friends who don't play seen the Cast Member exclusive at all.

I think one of the coolest things about this is that there are other villains that have spells (i.e. Queen of Hearts, Doris the mechanical bowler hat from Meet the Robinsons)

If they had it at DLR it would be interesting to see if you can simply load up the scans into an any touch screen smart phone and use the system since it is an optical reader.

That is neat to be able to see all the cards at that link ~ thanks!

It might be worth a try ~ MadEye, do you have a smart phone to take a photo of the card??

Others have said they've tried it and it didn't work. Then again, that wouldn't work (assuming it did to begin with) unless you have a bunch of friends with the cards on their phones while on medium and hard.
