Don't forget to leave some room in your luggage. You know you will want some souvenirs

Naw it's alright. My one bag will be enough. It's kind of like a black hole.

Yes indeed. Now that it is the eve of my departure, I believe I'll throw on some tunes and finish packing! Any recommendations on what I should bring for the plane ride?theBIGyowski wrote:A Mary Poppins bag...if you will.TikiTikiRoom wrote:Naw it's alright. My one bag will be enough. I would recommend lots of liquids and gels and sharp things for on the planeTikiTikiRoom wrote:Yes indeed. I would guess you already have your earphones with you...bring some snacks or food. Most of the planes still give you peanuts or pretzels and something to drink, but that's about it. And obviously and electronics should go in your carry-on luggage. Beyond that, you might want a book or magazine...

hmmm....I'm guessing my Thesaurus and Dictionary don't count as light reading? Darn. I guess I'll just have to bring some comic books. :/

Well my carry-on luggage is good to go. Packed a graphic novel (not a comic book....there's a difference), a book about piracy "Under The Black Flag" really good read, my sketchbook, my earbuds and iPod and a pencil....oh and my bathing suit. We're planning on hitting the pool before we go to dinner at Boma, so our actual luggage will not be there, thus the bathing suit in my carry-on.

Sounds like some very wise choices. You'll be landing in Florida before you know it! Any long layovers or will you be flying fairly direct?TikiTikiRoom wrote:Well my carry-on luggage is good to go. Re: Upcoming adventure!
So id like to state that kilani village is awesome. Biiiig. The wildlife outside is fantastic and the room is to die for. Last nights meal at Boma was incredible and I felt like I was gonna explode. The Zebra domes and their pudding with rum sauce was epic. Today I hit Animal kingdom. Totally awesome. Got some good pics. Later in the afternoon I branched off and went to Epcot on my own. Super rad. Going back there tomorrow to get me an epcot shirt and for our reservation I believe. The weathers been perfect. Tomorrow should be a little drizzly and sixty but that's ok. After that, blue skies!! Can't wait to post pics when I get home. I'll keep you guys posted.

Alright so today since its gonna get no higher than 60ish, we plan on going to Downtown Disney and Epcot a little later once our reservation for Le Cellier gets closer. Last night we ate Sanaa here at the lodge. Really good food and great cocktails. The Striped Lemur is a winner. The only complaint is we say next to a screaming two yearold. Oh well.

As for souvenirs, you can go to the business office at any Disney resort, box it up, and get it shipped back to your home.
