My mom was talking last night about how she wanted to check out something that's going on in WDW at the moment, so who knows?? Maybe there's another trip in my future!! :D

The only two places I will ever need to be are Manhattan and Disney World.

Amazingly no. I should be, because my dad gets home from a trip tomorrow (work) and I have to go to work at 3:30 til 8:30. Then again, I'm a very light packer. But I am definitely packing in my head right now lol. I just got a book in the mail for reading material on the plane! Hooray! I've also been watching videos of Kidani Village at the AK Lodge. Their pool looks awesome.

Buying plane tickets is always a fun part of the trip planning process as it really adds to the excitement. I usually buy my airfare 3-4 months out, but that is because we find out if things materialize around then.

Our reasoning in buying them so early was the sudden, inexplicable spike in gasoline prices, and the projections for later this year, especially this summer. We didn't want to see our airfare jump to an even higher, unaffordable, price so we took advantage of what was posted now. There's always a gamble that the fare will come down, but I realistically don't see that happening in the next 6 months.

Sounds like smart thinking ~ I can't imagine there being great deals on airfare any time soon :(

I was thinking about your geography... what if you took the South Shore line into Chicago, then took the train up to O'Hare? Would you save significantly on airfare? F1gment should be more than welcomed on all those modes of transportation. And.. the hotels near O'Hare aren't horribly expensive, so if you needed to stay a night before training it back home, you could. I didn't know how much more expensive it was for you guys to fly out of South Bend.

Speaking of F1gment, is she better today?

I don't think that would save us any money by the time we did all that. The South Shore runs about $40 now I think, so we'd have to multiply that by two. And all the extra travel wouldn't be good for F1gment's body or my mood ;)
F1gment is better today thank you ~ she came home tonight and is happily sitting in her own chair and looking forward to sleeping in her own bed.

Looks like 14 days for me and the fam. We're going to attempt a Florida Spring Break trip. Wish us luck.

NaCler are you aware of new regulations recently passed requiring past trip reports to be posted before anyone can go on their next trip?

Nope... But if it's required, then I'll have to comply! 8-)
