Re: What ride/attraction won't you ride?
I have ridden Rock n' Roller coaster once, and that was enough for me. I am *NOT* a roller coaster fan.. So you can add all the roller coasters to my list.. Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, Expedition Everest- those are all no goes.
Plus Mission Space. It isn't because of the centrifugal force, it is because I am very claustrophobic, and I have seen pics of how close you are to the screen. I think I would have a panic attack.
Oh yeah... and Astro Orbiter, I am really afraid of heights.

Re: What ride/attraction won't you ride?
I've never had the chance to go on Stitch and I don't want to, but I'll get on during my next trip only to see the changes from Alien Encounter, and to see Skippy. But I hate that my favorite ride is gone. More family friendly, my eye! If that's the case, what's up with the rollercoasters??
Grumble! Grumble!

Actually, a lot of pretty young children enjoy roller coasters, especially if brightly and child-friendlily themed. The thing is that Alien Encounter was pretty scary. I remember going on every roller coaster in the park when I was five and loving it, and then I went to see Alien Encounter and got so freaked out that I sobbed for an hour. That said, I would NOT recommend Stitch, especially is Alien Encounter was a favorite of yours. They've made it pretty terrible.BuDz211 wrote:I've never had the chance to go on Stitch and I don't want to, but I'll get on during my next trip only to see the changes from Alien Encounter, and to see Skippy. I think I'm the only person here on this forum that won't go on the Tower of Terror. Why? Because I hate the sensation of falling, yet I'll go on Expedition Everest and Rockin' Roller Coaster. Go figure.

I never went on Alien Encounter as Alien freaked me out like crazy when I was younger. Now I have the DVD box set and super stoked for the new Prometheus movie, hahahah.BuDz211 wrote:I've never had the chance to go on Stitch and I don't want to, but I'll get on during my next trip only to see the changes from Alien Encounter, and to see Skippy. Anyways.....They brought Skippy back? I went on Stitch a couple years ago and don't remember Skippy. I wish I still had my Skippy shirt

I also went skydiving a few years ago and loved it. However...you never feel like you are falling when skydiving...but feel more like you are floating.

Well, its weird.. I am REALLY afraid of heights, and I am not really a fan of falling.. at all. But since we go to Disney every year, we have a tradition, I will conquer a ride every year, either one I have only ridden once, or one I have never ridden.
This year it was tower of terror.. I cant say I really liked it.. I mean I like everything up until the whole drop (and this year they dropped us like a TON of times, this was the second time I had ever ridden it). Last year it was Test Track. I had ridden it the year before, but I worked myself up by the time we got to the outside part and I kinda had a bit of a breakdown. But I have that one conquered.. I think I kinda like the ride. The year before that I think it was Soarin. I was scared cause I am afraid of heights, but that is like one of my favorite rides now.. even on the top row!!
Next year I think I MIGHT try for Mission Space. I am not sure.

I'm actually reluctant every time we go on Splash Mountain. The initial drop always freaks me out, but when it's over, the wave of relief that comes over me is incredible lol.

I have.. I both love it and hate it. I love the first part of the ride, the music and animatronics and such, but of course I am not a huge fan of the drop. Since we go in mid February, we dont always get to it- we actually didn't ride it this year. Honestly if we had, I think I would have tried to conquer it as well. It all depends on the weather on the day that we happen to be at MK...
Another issue is that the leader of the group is in an ECV (a scooter, not really a wheelchair) so that really slows our pace, which means its hard to get back the before the line is way long.
